This is why ICOs are being tagged as a scam project a lot of greedy people using ICOs to earn fast and then vanish like nothing happened.
I a gree with you if you love your BTC dont invest in ICOs to be sure and to play safe.

Never invest in an ICO when you haven't gathered enough information on it. Never commit to an ICO if you simply feel that it will be a good project "one day". It doesnt work that way!
Well thats a lot of money,This is the reason why i dont invest in ICOs projects that has a lot of potential can do the same thing.We will never know what they will do to our investments.For me stay away from these ICOs.
