Many new coming forums think that it's like that to get the attention of most users and jump over their newly made forum. That's not how it goes, and having this type of competition is good but there are a lot of flaws that can be seen here like someone will just go over your forum and if luckily have won reaching that merit points requirement and have got that 1 ETH, eventually if there's no other reason to stay there then that guy and the rest will leave.

Your offer is really tempting but people are so skeptical due to your reputation so maybe try different approach since people nowadays doesn't want to spend time on things that they now risky or not worth it. So try to listen the sentiments of people since if you are serious to promote your forum here then you must do something and apply those people suggestion or create another action base on the approach you have read.

Creating a platform like this is not so easy since you need to have a lot of money to market your site and convince those people to stay then have a discussion on each boards in your forum.

Good luck for this and we hope to see something great to happen especially on the marketing you plan to do.

Agree with you. There were similar attempts to establish discussion boards besides bitcointalk.org. However, non of them were successful, and I guess this will be another attempt nobody is talking about anymore in a year or so. There is nothing innovative.

Some time ago I thought about someting like this for a new board to prosper: Create a new coin with limited amount and give them to the communty. The token holders will get a share of earnings the board makes (ads, cooperations etc), like dividends for stocks. The more active the community is, the more revene will be made and the more interesting will the coins be for investors.

Not a very good system. For one, most "1 person gets a big reward" type contests usually means either you or a friend makes an alt forum account and just so happens to win the contest.

If it is not a scam and your are legit, then you would be better off splitting the reward up to get more people involved.

You could offer $25 worth of ETH (or another coin with cheaper transaction fees) to 100 people with some type of quality and quantity criteria. For example: 50 posts over a 30 day period that receive at least x amount of merit. This would work out to about 50 cents per quality post which a lot of people on this forum would take you up on.

are you the owner of this forum? I think it is a great opportunity for good posters, specially those who like ethereum and ethereum based project. they can join and start accumulating merits to earn a ethereum. but Your Newbie rank might confuse people.
Also the forum looked relatively new. I am hearing about it first time. Did you thought about running a signature campaign to promote that even more?
The details are also not bit clear about the rewards. So anyone who earn 1000 merits will earn a Ethereum? how many people will earn 1 ethereum,? I mean there has to be some kind of limit. it is not like if 100 people earn 1000 merits all of them get 1 etheeum each or is that just 1 ethereum divided among all people?

Sound more like another cryptotalk utopian dream, though we all know how things will end eventually. It will only attack money hungry spammers and nothing will be organic about the growth of the forum. Once the rewards stop coming in, the spammers will also reduce their effort or completely stop posting.

The Administrator is making these offers to tempt users but who is there who will trust on him. If you go through this forum so you will see that this is a brand new Ethereum forum. And the administrator registered his account on 23 October 2023. It means he created this forum in October. I don't think so they will give an Ethereum to the users. So don't waste you time on that forum.

Ethereum comes a distant second to Bitcoin, however in the cryptocurrency ranking Ethereum is second after Bitcoin, so having it's community forum where it is discussed is a step in the right direction. If the forum have active members and they make quality posts, then it's a place that is worth visiting. Although I've not explored the forum but at a glance I noticed that you'd have to get 1000 merit to be eligible for 1eth reward, that is like reaching legendary rank in bitcointalk forum, to be eligible, perhaps their admin can restructure that area so that they can get more active members.

If you want to attract a real ETH community forum then you need structured announcement posts posted here and on your forum also. Second increase the reward amount. Third increase the number of winners. Fourth put money in Escrow.
