The answer to that question is you dont. No one has crystal ball and no one anticipated the changes of the price on each project. Some projects that are very low before are starting to rise now. I was hoping to look and find these kinds of projects. I think most people will only dump or sell their coin once they reach at least 10x of their investment but who actually stays for a very long time. Those are the one that ripped the glory of those project in the long run. Best example is ethereum which are now on the peak of their game and Im sure it will continue to rise even more. Ethereum was the first thing that actually improved blockchain a lot, that is why it made such a huge news, there is a lot of people who really do not know why ethereum is such a big deal and why stuck to second, and I can tell you that I have been here since the early days of ethereum and can tell you that after the hard fork ethereum as it is started to develop so many stuff that blockchain world changed.

But my friends told me that there wasn't much hype back then. The promoters really struggled to get the necessary funding during the ICO phase. Just like Bitcoin, I’ve regretted not knowing Ethereum and not taking cryptocurrencies seriously when they’re created. I could have bought a lot of it, especially Bitcoin and other ones and making a fortune by now.

Yeah I know how it feel not riding the wave a few years ago, but it is what it is. I’m still happy right now that I bought a little of it when it was around $200-$210, and now $390+ as of this time of writing.

There’s a good chance that DeFi projects would make ETH’s price on a continuous roll, and ETH 2.0 is on the way.

When I first entered into the crypto space in 2015 my first investment in crypto was with the Bitcoin price $200 at that time and I get Bitcoin in cloud mining contracts while I bought some Ethereum at the price of $0.71 in the same year and I thought that Eth price will not grow beyond further because of its huge total supply but I'm wrong instead it grew up to $18 per coin But after the DAO hacking incident at that time the price continues to drop and because I'm already in Panic I was sold all my Eth at the price of $11 and that was the biggest mistake I've made so far because I never expected the ETH price to reach $1000+ in 2017-2018. that was my history in Ethereum Still strong in 5 years.

It was XRP who temporarily beat ETH in ranking but ETH reclaim that sweet spot and consistently sitting now next to btc, I don't also think it would surpass bitcoin's rank, so I'm happy with its ranking now.

I have to agree with that. Because the Eth developers are not stopping their job but always looking to improve their network.
That is why we will be witnessing the eth 2.0 very soon. I hope it will bring more benefits among crypto users.

But in terms of eth addresses, I can say that a big percentage of that are not active anymore.
Because one person alone can create so much of eth addresses depending on his needs and forget about it.
Like for example, eth address generated on exchanges. I guess a lot of them are not active.

Is hard to predict the ETH price in the next 5 years, we know is the main coin used to run all kind of tokens, ICOs, etc... but at the same time they are moving to staking, and from the past coins running stacking we had realize that doesn't cooperate with the term decentralization, exchanges will become the main miners, so, i'm not sure if that will be a good thing.

Wow, I'm just getting to know now that ethereum was launched in 2015. I wished I joined the space earlier and got some of the tokens cheaper then.
