Mainnet is the foundation for blockchain-based companies to support their business on a decentralized system, and when the mainnet is launched it is certain that this hard fork is geared towards the good of the new network so that Ethereum is easy to increase investment.

I came across a news about Etherlite, a hard fork of Ethereum. Has anyone also heard the news? I have read several articles about it but it seems it is not widely discussed here, not even mentioned in the ANN thread of Ethereum.

In fact, the Mainnet has just been launched today. But it seems it is not a big deal at all. Is this another useless hard fork or is this hard fork directed towards a goal which would really improve the network?

I want to hear the opinions of the expert on this.

Hard Fork have become a joke sometimes. When crypto prices are deteriorating, there is always news about the harfork, but unfortunately we cannot feel the positive effects after the hard fork occurs.

and i heard they also have an airdrop program i followed it but haven't seen how much etherlite i got.
and also they have a public sale and it looks like this is a new project not into ethereum development, but a project that is on the ethereum network just like any other project.

the problem is why there is a public sale program? whereas ETL claims that they are from a fork of Eth. doesn't that look stealthy.
I prefer you to join the Airdrop only, and not contribute to the Public sales program. thereby minimizing the occurrence of obstacles when the ETL project is fraudulent. because Airdrop is free, so it's better to take advantage of it. who knows, it could become a nest of profits without the need to participate in public sales events.

as you've heard, could this be part of pushing the cost of ethereum gas too high? because lately, ethereum has always been associated with gas, yes the community is always looking forward to eth 2.0. etherlite may be part of ethereum 2.0

Yes I heard of this. There is also an airdrop to eth holders of this coin. But strangely they got a private sale for their coin. So not sure if this is hard fork of eth since they did a token sale and only airdrop of few coins to holders with a huge different price is a pretty red flag for me.

Honestly when I read it. Ive found it quite confusing, cause I know almost all gard fork doesnt need to have a token sale just for release. Or the devs dont have funds for it.

You got some scam news. You should check twice before you get real information. Etherlite never was a hard fork of Ethereum. The last name was Muir Glacier before it was Istanbul. This information I have to share. The last hardfork changed many things even now the transaction cost is now 5 GWEI!

and if there is no true news from ETH own statement, I think they will claim that ETL is a branch coin. and so far I didn't hear about it until I found a reference. although they claim the coin branch, the ETH Dev should focus more on the development of ETH 2.0 which is still awaited. didn't ETH 2.0 take so long to launch, how could ETL be earlier and pre-empt ETH 2.0.
Yes, that obviously won't be possible because the development of ETH 2.0 is still very much more important than a branch coin that only serves as support, because with it it can also further strengthen ETH in the cryptocurrency space.

Somebody actually told me the news. I then went searching online and spent a few minutes trying to confirm it and there are indeed news about it but it seems not big enough to have hit a lot of headlines and made discussions and debates among crypto communities and personalities. This is the reason why I decided to bring it up here just in case some are also following this development.

I've never heard of EtherLite until I saw this topic. Google search lead me to an article: EtherLite – Upcoming Ethereum Hard Fork to Launch One-Click Migration Tool for dApps. I think it's a legit project with some trendy features like: Web3, blockchain bridges... However, in the past, there were a lot projects of this kind. Only time will tell if it's real gold or trash.
I never mind to claim any forked coins like that, EtherLite. They create a fork coin and if you are naively to reveal your seeds just to claim those fork coins, you will highly have risk of losing your Ethereum.

Not your keys, not your coins. When you give up secret of your Ethereum wallet seeds, you lose that wallet. Developers or scammers of those scam projects will react very fast, and they will steal your Ethereum.

Don't give up your seeds, don't exchange your Ethereum for shit Ethereum forked coins.

It seems like another garbage coin https://etherlite.org/home

It's still running ICO and you can buy it with ethereum to get some etherlite. it's not the same like ethereum classic that already generated caused by the hardfork.

As far as i know the hardfork coin that rumoured to be generated from the upcoming ethereum hardfork was ethereum genesis and it's not etherlite.

I haven't heard about Etherlite before this. Can you provide the authentic source about this hard fork?

I get to know about Etherlite by an airdrop post that every ETH hodlers will get ELT token by this hardfork of Etherlite. TBH, it looks like just other hardfork projects and nothing much in the longer timeframe. As London hardfork will decrease gwei price more and transection will be back to normal just like before. In that case, it won't get that much attention from the community in the long run. But anything can be possible if team continuosly do the marketing just like now.  Grin

if true Eth will make hardware and provide new innovations I will look forward to it. However, if in the end it still does not provide conditions and solutions to the prolonged problems that have been burdening many people, it will be in vain. which we hope Ethereum brings relief. I know the quality of Ethereum is unquestionable, but still it all depends on what kind of offer will be given. for example the most dominant is low cost.

Another Hard fork again? It seems that it is never-ending cycles of these easy money copycats scheme, (if that hard fork will be resulting in a new coin) I can say that it's another ride on with the current Ethereum issue's which is the expensive transaction fees and slower network But I think the gas fees are already gone down as I wrote this the current gas fee was 49-51 Gwei which is I think a little bit cheaper compare to the previous weeks or months.
Whether it's copycat or not who cares? Free airdrop means free money, I bet all you got to do is keep some ETH in your wallet to be qualified and that's all, I've heard about the project as well and it looks legit to me, as far as you aren't told to insert your private keys to another wallet you will be fine, free money is yummy

Actually never heard it, for what I have known there's already a lot of fork from top coins like the Bitcoin's fork but not all of those forks goes well I hope this one will do good. I just heard that they are upgrading the Ethereum network for a much more cheaper fees.

I’ve read an article with regards to this one and it seems legit, ETH will have another hardfork to address the issues of a huge fees and a slower network. Its out since yesterday May 1, I didn’t see any news ahead of time with regards to this one, I’m still on a search for more informations with this hardfork, let’s hear the other comments and let’s see if exchanges will support this hardfork.
