You are just a complete idiot ... no one telling the manufacturer he/she used the card for mining ... but when your card died , you are not able to flash back the factory bios ... if you rma your card and they find out you used a modded bios , there is no free replacement ... is that simple to understand ... for some ppl   , but for you to understand this looks like need a little extra time 

Which is instantly voided as soon as you mine. So don't lie and say they have a warranty lol. We all know that warranty is null and void if you tell them you mine on them.

My cards have a 3 year warranty, if you want to try and argue that those cards have a 90 day warranty. If those have a 90 day and it's valid after they mine on it, then so is the 3 year warranty.

yes those rx 480 cards what i linked here are refurb cards or we can call them used ones just like yours but those cards on newegg at least covered with 90 days warranty    

The 480's you linked on Newegg are all refurbished. Brand new are $550+ Yes, my cards are used, but they are also proven good, and working stable. I'd take that over a refurb. I personally, and know people personally who have bought Refurb cards that are either DOA or stop working within a month. Both nvidia and amd.


Another thing. The cheapest 480 refurb is $339+tax+shipping. You're looking at $400 a card. That's $2400 for the cards alone.

I say again. My rig's price is fair. Your posts aren't helping you validate whatever point you are trying to make.

Another thing I would like to point out. You are failing to include tax, and shipping for all of this. The total cost of these rigs at the time I built them, from order, to payment, to tax, to shipping, and materials to actually BUILD the rig. It was just over $2900.

Another thing. The cheapest you can find used XFX 480's is about $315 on ebay, which is going to also charge $20-$30 for shipping, plus paypal fees, etc.

One last thing, you are also assuming every buyer is going to know how to properly setup a rig with 6 cards, modified, running at max performance. Almost ANYONE who knows how, isn't going to buy a PREBUILT rig. The people who buy prebuilt rigs know they pay a slight premium for the WORK THAT WAS DONE ASSEMBLING and LEARNING how to actually do it PROPERLY. There is VALUE in that, to many. Maybe not to you, but to MANY.


You are entitled to your opinion, but your experience equates to your lacking the value in the time spent actually building one of these at peak performance. Not everyone can do that. This is why eBay is in business and why everything on there seems so expensive.

Read the most recent articles you can find about Metropolis. It is going to change how difficulty is calculated going forward. Not being based off block time, and being based off hashrate. But also reducing the block reward. Nevertheless, the profitability will rise again on these rigs, about 30-40% more. And should steadily grow until the new - planned difficulty bomb is implemented on the metropolis network at a later date. That will lead up to full blown Casper release which will be proof of stake.

This is why you still have a hard time finding graphics cards, and why equipment hasn't really gone down in price. Truly experienced miners are planning ahead, and these will be quite profitable again sometime very soon.

Another thing - Bitcoin will be hard-forking later this year (November, I believe), into a ASIC-Resistant, Equihash based, GPU mined "Bitcoin Gold". That opens a whole new avenue for GPU miners.

You are entitled to that opinion. It's cheaper than eBay still, and I've sold 5 of them RECENTLY at this price or very very close to it. Part of the reason I post the listings a little high is because I negotiate pricing, and most people here (like yourself) like to wheel and deal.
