Ethereum system is quite terrible now in terms of pending transactions.
There are over 25k TX waiting in the queue for 2 days.

It is impossible to process under 40 gwei and this is very expensive for token transfers.

What is the cause of it? Again those kitties or something else?

When will it become normal again?

Both Ethereum and Btc is struggling at the same time because of the huge volume that they are having and it is starting to be annoying. For Ethereum there are thousands of pending transactions and for Bitcoin there is insane transaction fees. I hope it won't go like this.

It is really starting to annoy very much. There are two main major coins and both of them is struggling with a different problem. I wish both Ether and Bitcoin will solve this problem for transaction times and transaction fees.

I think there's no particular reason for it, just a large number of transactions being processed in terms of trades etc. Hopefully it can be resolved soon, such things are never sustainable and fortunately solutions are in the pipeline for ethereum and bitcoin, they really can't come soon enough.

Today I read complaints about delayed eth withdrawals from exchanges, and the complainants were asking the same question. Why are there so many eth transactions? I haven't found a definitive answer yet.

Maybe not a lot of people are mining ETH now. They prefer to mine ZCL or ETN now as they are still accessible and they are very profitable now. ETH needs to be POS if they want it to continue to stay alive...

On my TX notification it stated to me that because of the rise of ICO activity there were huge delays in transferring my ETH. However, I normally use 30 GW and normally takes me 20/30 mins to get my ETH into my exchange. My prediction though, this will significantly increase to silly amounts in 2018!
