Many cyrpto users moan about the decrease of Ethereum, it was significantly down. As we know, in the 2017 it was on top price, but now it is losing out the value. Comparing from other altcoins, I think this is the most unexpected for the very low price.

There is no exact explanation about this and there is no exact reason why is this happening.
But it is sure that people are selling low! Though whatever is happening now,
it is a good situation to get more ETHEREUM before it rises again.

Most of the ideas are 'whole market is kissing the floor' but pay attention: Ethereum is using for most of the tokens which are created by Ethereum system, I mean Ethereum has a 'usage area' , almost all of the cryptocurrencies have not a usage area excluding trading. People are talking about future of blockchain in side of usage area. One of the most important coin which have a usage area is dumping today. I think that the fall is primarily due to the fact that many ICO projects are produced on the basis of Ethereum. Investors of these projects change tokens for ETH and then sell it for dollars. I think this is the first reason for the fall in prices for Ethereum.

Agree ETH showed a negative effect this year but remember it was the only coin to compete with BTC, and I am sure the value of ETH will go up in upcoming days. I think that one of the main reasons are ICO projects dumping their ETHs to protect their funds to continue or develop the project. Of course they need funding and most I think are in ETH.

Ethereum is a double edged sword, it is good for bringing the blockchain to many businesses and people, but on the other side, all the ICOS selling all their eth creates even more sell pressure in the market, which generates a spiral for erc20 tokens to also follow suit and fall and also as ETH is pegged to Bitcoin also, the war waged against Bitcoin from bitcoin cash and bitcoin sv is causing even more damage all round at the price. I wish everyone would boycott bitcoin cash and bitcoin sv but looks like we are at the mercy of some greedy miners.

Ethereum has fallen by around 13% in a week and gained around 0.53% in the last 24 hours. It is down by around 93% since its all-time high rate, with respect to 17-month-low.

Reasons could be
1. 80,000 ETH were transferred to the Kraken Exchange in two different transactions which might be the holdings of an Initial Coin Offering(ICO) and is wanting to sell for avoiding losses as the price is likely to fall even further down to $60 according to some of the crypto market analysts.

2. Many traders claiming that projects have begun to liquidate their war chests, that are often full of Ether, into fiat, leading to the current collapse of the market, not only ETH.

Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) could see the coin move to a Proof-of-Stake consensus. So, while the impact of ICO selling could persist throughout this bear market when eventually the “panic” would cease. If developments continue and the updates are successfully rolled out, institutional and retail demand from Ethereum could pick up again.

The market is very volatile..it has crazy movement. it is unpredictable, base on the market preview as posted. the entire crypto market had experienced a very strong storm, a huge volume of investment was wipe out on the 24hrs.period. the market bleed..but it is not the end of it. yes. a massive sell off on the market had contributed to bring down the price value of almost ALT coin and Crypto to a very lowest level. Because there was a lot of bad news about ico related to the regulations. this was creating a lot of impact to the ethereum especially those people are seeing that these regulations will give limitation to the icos itself. Remember a lot of icos are liquidating their ethereum.

It's just not Ethereum it's the entire crypto world that's kissing the floor, it's an extended period of bear run and nothing can be done about it, except to sit tight and hodl your coins. Another reason is all Ico's sell for Ethereum coins, and due to Ico's selling there is wider pressure on Ethereum. Time has shown how incredibly uneducated most of the CFO's of the companies doing ICO's really are. If you were the CFO of a traditional firm you would be cognizant of the Foreign Exchange risk if your Balance sheet was mostly in Euro's and your expenses were in Dollars. That they sat with most of their balance sheet in ETH when they would need Fiat to fund their operation is incredibly negligent given the historic volatility of cryptocurrency.

I think that none can explain why ethereum is dumping? Only one can predict. The main reason I think behind the meltdown of the good coin is the declining of the whole market. The question is,is it only ETH that is down?Why are we making it look like ETH is dead.Every other coin are down as well,so it is not about ETH but crypto market in general.

Because most ICOs use ERC20 coins, when they take these ERC20 coins, they are usually converted to Ethereum, and then when they take Ethereum, it will lead to dumping.
Don't think that Ethereum's current price is at the bottom. In fact, there may be more dumping happening. Last year's ICO was too much, and now they have not completely eliminated their bubbles.

ETH is not the only crypto that is experiencing the same movement as what you are seeing in the market, BTC is also a crypto wherein it is also experiencing this kind of price flow, XRP and Stellar as well, so I don't think you should be only recognizing Ethereum as the only crypto that is kissing the floor right now, this month has been one of the worst in the market.

is it true that etherium is now dumping? if it's right to do a dump, surely the price of etherium will not decline like this. I am waiting for when Etherium will come back victorious again

Just a brutal bear market. Plus those who did ICO's are also selling eth they got as their holdings relative to USD is shrinking.
If eth goes lower, do does their funding from ICO.
It's just a cycle.

The main reason is the market condition. But ethereum has down one step in the coinmarketcap. I personally believe ICOs are another reason to fall ethereum price. Because all ICO owners are mostly accepting ethereum and they will cash out their ethereum. We can understand that looking at this year chart.
