Yes, I'm an asshole

It's been a while since the thread updated, I've followed both this accusation thread as well as the accusee thread updates. Just now, I think they posted something worth mentioning as a good evidence of scam attempt or rather phising.

On their updated (28/05/19) opening post as well as post number #31 and #32, they attempted to fool community by duplicating MEW original site, thus risking clueless members into giving access to their wallet (link redirect to archive).

Thank you Sir , you said everything , appreciate that
It would be awesome if you updated the findings in the OP to make it look like a proper scam accusation. A few members have pointed out on what needs to be done.
You wouldn't love to have a scam accusations board were members do not trust the scam accusations because it's filled with bad unproven scam reports... would you? Wink

I tagged ethtech_official but I agree with Bitcoin_Arena, update the OP with proper information.

They just did some tweaks on their whitepaper and website just to make it different but it's hilarious that it is really obvious if it will be examined thoroughly. I guess that makes them a scam if they are trying to copy the same scam project that passes just recently.

So a plagiarized whitepaper is considered a scam? I really appreciate the hardwork of scam busters but if you throw an scam accusation, you must be sure to back it up with more harder evidence.

No, it is not evident that it is a scam. If you point out just one paragraph, definitely it is not enough evidence.
You started this scam accusation and it is your obligation to point out enough sources to accuse of scam. Calling a project scam without enough evidence will bring bad reputation for this forum. Dont expect readers of this forum to do the work for you - it is your accusation - finish what you started - search for more evidence, point out more plagiarized pages and content. We are not defending this project. But the fact that 1 paragraph was copied from a scam project doesnt mean the project is a scam. 1 paragraph can be easly fixed/re-written.

Yeah I think its our responsibility to catch those project which are completely scam and have enough evidence against them. Forum is the place for every single crypto lover, entrepreneur and user who have rights to learn and earn from here in a proper way. If any real crypto project lose their reputation or market value because of our slight mistakes then obviously its unrecoverable. So its really important to investigate properly before opening a scam accusation thread against any project. we should keep it on our mind that we are not against real ICOs but we are against real scammers.

You should be careful calling it a scam. you just pointed plagiarism on page 3-3rd paragraph and more. Just one paragraph is not enough to call a project a scam.  please be specific about "more".
Probably you should consider removing the word "scam" fro your post/thread until you have more evidence.

Come on , the definition of the coin is the same as ETC coin , the just changed the name , is not it evident to say it is scam ?
About more I mean you can check yourself more plagiarism from the same article.
About the format , thank you for your remarks , I will try to work on them in the future

You also need to post screenshots from both pages. Original and plagiarised. Without all prove you just give them a chance to change disputatious text and made it legit.

Make sure you Archive every scam project you come across... Scammers have a tendency of changing information once caught and you will have no proof once they change it.
You can also take screenshots of plagiarized parts of whitepaper and post them here as proof
