Perhaps today this is not a very relevant topic. Since the Ethereum platform is currently experiencing very serious difficulties. Plus in 2020 it is planned to open Ethereum 2.0 and no one knows exactly how it will take place. Maybe in the future Ethereum will not be an actual platform for projects?  In this case, you will lose your money in vain and miss a possible profit.

If you want to get a bunch of tokens, try to participate in bounty campaigns, because there are so many of them live at the moment and it makes it a perfect opportunity to fill your bags full of new altcoins and maybe even get profit from them.

If you are a fan of cryptocurrency, you might want to have a touch on tokens - one of the most advanced methods of crowdfunding and investment these days. Since most new tokens are Ethereum-based ICOs, this article will guide you through ways to get your feet wet in the world of Ethereum tokens. (ARTICLE: https://www.hb-wallet.com/post/2018/12/10/how-to-get-ethereum-tokens)

Why ethereum tokens ? Actually you can make your own token in ethereum network, but get some valuable tokens is a different thing.
I usually get ethereum tokens by participating in bounty campaigns. There are other way like joining some airdrops, but i don't want to waste my time too much.

All who are here, I am very sure that they are very interested and want to have a lot of crypto assets in their wallet, because crypto gives a surprise to its holders
They sure do, but you must be able to play your own art too that you invest in those cryptos that would give you that surprise, cryptos that when you hold and see in future, you will be happy that indeed you have very good assets not like some of the cryptos that we have in  our portfolio now that you don’t know if they are still breathing or not because they have very little life in them, and when you succeed in eventually gathering coins that are of good essence, I think the next thing should  be the wallet, which brings me to the part of op.

The HB wallet is actually one of the greatest wallets that I have seen so far, I have few of my projects in it, although I prefer to use hardware wallet which is where I store majority of my tokens, including some of these shot tokens too.

For beginners who don't have many wallets yet, this tutorial might be a good choice for them, and for those who already have a lot of ERC-20 based wallets, you can also try it, because hb-wallet looks very good too, and I personally will also try to wear it.

The article was posted on Dec 10, 2018, so it's already 8 months after the article posted and there's a lot of things that happened.

In the article, airdrop was stated, yes, you can still get ETH tokens in airdrop but how can you sell it with a worthless value, that's not gonna be attractive as in general the ICO market now is not anymore profitable, so if you want to get tokens by earning it, you need to be more patient as most likely you will get more less valued tokens than the token value you want to earn, some already give up due to that reality.

I think the article still lacks clear information about how we can make investments and where to contact the platform for us to invest. they only explain how you get coins through the airdrop method and store them in an eth wallet like erc-20. and I am a little less confident in the ICO program that runs through ETH. yes, maybe we can trust ETH but most of the ICO programs that run behind ETH are often fraudulent which results in huge losses especially for investors.

90 percent of all available shitcoins are tokens running on ETH smart contract, this is one of the reasons i don't like tokens any more, scammers are using ETH platform to create scam projects using ICO fund raising and i'm sure its affecting ETH itself,we don't need more ETH tokens based wallet we want solution for scam tokens

The topic starter was late with his announcement for a couple of years Smiley For me, the article "How to get rid of garbage tokens at the Ethereum address" would be relevant now Wink

This guide is all about HB wallet and the features can be found in many other wallets like coinomi wallet ,trust wallet, myether wallet etc,we already have too many wallets that supports all available ETH erc20 tokens so if any new wallet wants to be recognized by crypto users i think they should implement something new in their wallet with better features

A decent guide for newbies that are into tokens and it advice to use the hb wallet which is obvious on the link that you have provided. I think this is best if placed on the beginners and help section of the forum if not, then let it stay here.

Except from HB wallet, there's also the most popular ethereum wallet that we've been using, the myetherwallet.com(MEW). Although there are also other good wallets that someone can use to take those tokens with them like the Ledger wallet.
