I'm going to give imToken a try and close the thread because apparently, most people who answered didn't even read the OP to start with and they are just spamming. Coinbase, Blockchain, Jaxx, and Coinomi are not open source wallets, which is what I requested...

I am not sure about the open source available wallets but you can use some android wallets.

Here are some wallets in my recommendation.

Jaxx
Coinomi
Coinbase
Blockchain.info

These all above have application on play store. Try which one you prefer.

My list
1. Imtoken
2. Trustwallet (created by binance)
3. Breadwallet

But i prefer with imtoken wallet consider it's the wallet that was having the largest community. You can try to visit the main site to get more explanation about that.
I used imtoken and it's easy to add any new ERC20 asset or secure your amount safely.

The question would be can you trust them that your tokens will be safe?

The only I have right now is the MEWconnect but the one thing I like using myetherwallet is that I can use the wallet offline using the keystroke/json file and seem like MEWconnect prevent users from doing it. Is any of them allowing this?

I prefer to use imToken, the ethereum platform wallet for android users, which you can get in the playstore.
It has been proven safe and there are no problems from various users of the application

Coinomi can be one of the best wallet for storing altcoins on android or even you can try blockchain.com.
Coinomi is my choice too when it comes to altcoins but don't store a lot of altcoins, ethereum and others in there.

Blockchain.com is good for me but I haven't tried the app version. I've also seen people that are suggesting trust wallet but still have no experience with that, anyone who has experience with trust wallet?

I downloaded MEWconnect but its still not working properly for me,so don't deposit any ethereum before make sure its working.

What problem did you face with MEWConnect? It's working fine for me.

Also, Jaxx is not safe as users have complained that their wallets have got hacked so I don't recommend using that wallet.

When you need ethereum and its token secure wallet Mewconnect and matamask are the best options however if you need a secure mobile wallet for ethereum storing alone i will recommend https://brd.com its secure, low fee and fast.

Always been using jaxx and I recently created a wallet in coinomi. I haven't encountered any issues so far in these two and you can also access the other tokens/coins that you have on your wallet in it.
