Taxes and rates are going up, and everyone feels it except those who don't have to. Governments tax to survive. Banks hike rates for their own protection. And normal people? They just try to breathe. No one asks if they can

The extremely rich have no worries about this. They don't feel the changes the way you do. Their mortgage payment suddenly quadrupled, so they are not seated in a kitchen pondering how to extend their payback until next month. While billionaires run tax simulations like a video game, they seldom consider whether they could afford a simple existence. The game isn't played the same for everyone, not that they're wicked

And this entire "revenge" concept, let's not pretend history is fair. The typical person nowadays has little to do with centuries-ago empire-building. Guess what, though? They still have to pay for it. The cycle repeats. The middle class shrinks. The poor get crushed. And the machine simply never stops chewing. The wealthiest have no need to care; governments have dirty hands; banks lack compassion. Although not personal, it is always personal

No escape. No shortcuts. No simple fix. But people adapt. They always do. Simply said, you should not expect the rules to work in your advantage.

Clearly eu and uk have options higher taxes to keep their goverments alive.
End of the globalisation means no escape of taxes so easy neither, only for the super rich ones who could just go Switzerland Dubai and they don't care about high cost of living.
High taxes + banks want to earn profits too so higher rates for loans and credit as people are risky now for the banks to give loans and credit.
It seems like europe uk get the treatment from other parts of the world how they have treated others.- but even uk and europe empires trough history wasn't good towards the world it's the poor and middle-class now 2025 who suffering even If other nations want to do revenge kind of thing towards Europe while more wealthy class can figure out their plans with second citizen passports and moving their wealth to better places.

Are you sharing your opinion, or you have insider information about the UK and EU countries increasing their taxes soon?
You can't just put all EU countries into the same category. Some EU countries have big budget deficits and big debts, while others are fiscally responsible. Some EU counties have high taxes, while others have low taxes. I'm not familiar with the situation in the UK, but being fiscally responsible is the best policy for a big country. The interest rates in the EU are surely going down, because inflation is finally under control and the European economy has to deal with the German recession(and the upcoming recession in France).

And who ends up carrying the burden of higher taxes? The people, of course. When that happens, they’ll struggle because their purchasing power will shrink. Higher taxes are only justifiable if they bring real benefits to the people, especially employees. But if those taxes only lead to more hardship without any real returns, then it’s not a solution but it just makes the problem even worse.
The government has to make sure that when they rise the taxes, there is a reason for it. They need to be transparent about where the people’s money is going to. Because if it is not seen obviously by the people then there would be questions raised.

I know countries that have high taxes, but have many benefits to back it up so overall it’s fine. But if you are paying high taxes and you are still paying a lot for costs of living. It becomes too much to bear at some point.

Aghh.... European smart move is to stop ukraine help give russia freedom in ukraine and then restart trade with russia that's the most smartest way.

This is a stupid call. Stupid at best. If Russia gets Ukraine, it will just go on with the rest of Europe. What would stop it? Certainly not people like you.

There was a sad joke when I was a kid, behind the iron curtain: who is Soviet Union neighbors with? With whomever (Soviet Union) wants.
I don't want those times again. They were really bad.

the question is how the business can operate under the higher taxes higher energy costs and If credit higher rates.
Simply they can't many of them will better just finish their business.
But off course burdens always will be placed over weakest and smallest people backs.
There is still smart ways to handle problems but it seems nobody motivated to take lead to operate with smart ways the wealthy ones will just fill up their own pockets before all crashing down.
But the higher taxes are real problem it will hit hardest small business people. - tax fraud will or hidding taxes will be new thing - history repeats remember long time ago people escaped from taxes to USA to start american dream, but now not much dream because trump not welcoming european people in usa not the poor or middle class If you buy some NYC billionaires property then off course you are welcomed Smiley
But one thing is for sure If all continue like that food prices are about to get much higher!!

Lesson nr1 don't be weak or poor otherwise you carry the burden of other sins.- off course from the desperation people will turn into crimes a lot. But then again police using tax payers money lol

Its not nice but untfortunately things are like that.
