you convinced me. I will change.

so, what you think is the best in europe? kraken? it has transparency? bitstamp maybe? What seems to be the most secure and reliable?

What are the limits of bitstamp for deposits?
I think both Kraken and Bitstamp are excellent, but if I have to pick a favorite, I'd say Kraken.

You should check this wiki page: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Comparison_of_real-time_trading_exchanges

I personally use Btc-e for it. You can wire transfer money, SEPA rules apply.

thank you.

what means "hold btw" column? you can't withdraw the btus after you buy them?

At the moment i am using btc-e too but i am afraid of it; so i am moving to another.

Hold BTC is "No" for CoinTouch (decentralised exhange) and OTC exchanges (which is obvious). So basically it's P2P trading, there is no exchange to hold funds.

Btc-e is a pretty good exchange. They make a lot of money so I wouldn't expect them to shut their service down.

What documents kraken requires when we want to go above that limits? (2k a day or 10k a month)

I'm pretty sure there's a list , but here's my personal experience so far :

- Bitstamp : quick, but asking for rather sensitive info (scan of passport or birth certificate) after a certain limit
- Safello : no issues, quick
- Kraken : huge limits, quick, no issues Smiley

what are the limits for bitstamp?

what do you recommend of that 3?

kraken, does not require any id for 2k dollars per day and 10k per months, bitstamp instead require id and proof of residence for every amount, rkaken sepa are much faster and cost virtually nothing($0.09)

thank you

Another vote for Kraken over bitstamp - superior trading platform, and the best btc/eur liquidity in the market.  Both offer SEPA transfers, so you get the preferential rate if you have a EU bank account.  This particular article is a bit of a work in progress, but links to the individual exchange reviews and there is some general info on euro-exchanges.  bitreview.com/exchange/btc-eur

Hello guys,

I have one question is there any list of all bitcoin exchanges and if there is also a list of bitcoin exchanges which are in europe?

Thanks in advance

If you want to sell or buy bitcoin I can suggest virwox. It is a very good site and very credible. I bought some times bitcoins there and everything goes fine. Have a very good support if someone goes wrong but normally nothing go wrong.

but virwox has horrendous fees. unless you need paypal > bitcoin it's far too expensive in my opinion.

btc-e is very large and has a good service.
Run by anomymous Russians (or similar eastern-European folk). Don't get me wrong, BTC-e does a great job. But this total lack of transparency is a disaster waiting to happen.

Have a look also at https://www.therocktrading.com, quite small, but based
in Malta - SEPA area and operating as a Bitcoin exchange since 2011. A ripple gateway too.

Bitstamp and Kraken are my exchanges of choice, both reliable, fast and with a good spread.

I usually use Kraken and never had any problems!
They are very quick and have a nice platform.
Bitstamp is also very fast and perhaps has more liquidity for trading pratices.
Both of them are perfectly secure and honest services.
