Great controverse for super league, look this video

Keeping Europa League and FIFA is more than enough to keep the sports running well and the fans stay happy, entertained, and amazed. So I would suggest for them to pause their plan about this super league stuff. It?s too obvious to be done

Is this it? I don’t really find it the football leagues that I respect and admire just as before. It’s already different and it seems like the standard is becoming lower and lower. Besides this, this is becoming overwhelming to the fans. Having a lot of leagues is really overwhelming and honestly, we might be done.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE CLUBS:

“Today 12 football clubs jointly announced an agreement competition, the Super League.

AC Milan, Arsenal, Atlético, Chelsea, Barcelona, Internazionale, Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Tottenham have all joined.

Three more clubs are expected to join as Founding Clubs before the inaugural season, which is expected to start as soon as possible.

In the future, the Founding Clubs look forward to consulting with UEFA and FIFA in order to work together".

Feel a bit bad that my club is part of this. I always thought Barca was a people's club, we're different slightly from others in the way we're run. We've always had some charity as part of our cause like with Unicef for a long time part of our main shirt...

So it's sad to see this news. I really hope it falls apart. This is not good for the rest of us. How can you have half the clubs from England???

It is hard to judge at the moment if this is going to be a real competition to UEFA or FIFA. The national teams will always have to compete in their own country first. This is were most of the fans go to Stadiums and watch games. The big Champions League finals are very rare and too expensive for most fans to go too. Having now these super leagues means that is a closed club, there is no competition against medium tier clubs anymore. Which what made Europe League and Champions League so fun too watch. It could always happen that an outlier club comes in and steals the shows. I hope these small closed leagues are not going to be the future of football.

I am still unsure what i should think about this. I am a fc bayern supporter and karl heinz rummenigge just said that he thinks that a super league is a bad idea because off the fans in the home countries of those clubs. On the other hand i don't really like the UEFA and the FIFA because they behave like they own the football and therefore i kinda want them to make this super league just to show the finger to the uefa.
I also don't know how this would work out. Would this be a competition in parallel to the uefa champions league and how many matches would those clubs play in their home leagues, or would they even be part of their home leagues.
Maybe those clubs just want to make pressure onto the uefa to get a better deal for the next champions league negotiation round.

I don't understand the reason of creating a new league. We have the Champions League and Europa League which give us a lot of football to cheer for.Maybe this league is more for the fans as this way even teams not qualified for Champions League or Europa League will have a chance to see their team here.
Money, money and again money! These again are gonna be backed by those filthy bastards of JP Morgan if you haven't noticed ($6B)
I truly hope the football world will revolt against these gangsters. I understand that UEFA and FIFA should diminish their blood sucking from the various league but this super-league is too much.

will be interesting to see what Bayern and PSG would have to say about this one?
it does seem that these clubs are from only three countries, UK, Spain and Italy, and actual Champions league winner is out from these countries, and this year is also questionable, since PSG is in semi-finals, with Real, Manchester and Chelsea

what is a merit for this competition beside more money poured in TV rights?

Sport isn't Sport anymore, Sadly, the only way this will fall down is if football fans vote with their feet....don’t buy tickets/don’t pay to watch it on tv. Football fans are too entrenched in their clubs to make this stand.  it’s all about the Bank Balance and Shareholders, absolute Disgrace.Because the owners of the clubs do not care about English football or its fans, they have no connection to the clubs and only care about money, power and prestige.

Who is greedy?, the Super League gives the winner reward more than the champions league, If I'm not mistaken, more than 300M pound sterling (3x champion league) reward. Look like they have a big support/sponsor behind them, Florentino Perez as the first president of ESL hope make a deal with UEFA and retract the statement about banned.

Honestly I don’t like this idea of European super league. Think about this, 6 english teams will be earning 400m$ a year at least and they will be playing against 14 other premier league clubs that earn a lot less money compared to them. You think this is fair?

I have no idea what to think of this. The Nations League is already so boring, I usually don't watch a single game. I hope the Champions League will still be the same after they also start this Super League.

More games, more injured players, less fun in my opinion for everyone, players and fans.
