What great news!

I'd love to know if any statistics will be published on the adoption and use of this service. It's one thing to have the service available but if people don't subscribe to it, what's the point?

I hope this is wildly successful.

I am not sure if many people would get into it, as you still need fiat to buy in many places and tends to be more convenient, but it is good to have the possibility and no doubt some enthusiast will grab it.

Go Bitcoin.

It would take a huge roll out of ATMs, and Bitcoin infrastructure, as well as celebrity endorsements. The sheep aren't always willing to change pastures, even if the other pastures are greener.

Europe is a fairly conservative place and we've only just gotten our own united currency. Will we give it up for this new digital one?

Nice to see that we are now able to get fully or partially paid in Bitcoin. For really passionate Bitcoiners this service might come to a right time. I in personal think it's a bit too early for that as Bitcoin still being in experimental phase. But it's great that we see this happening. One more piece of a closed loop which is becoming reality.

That's some pretty good news for European Bitcoin enthusiasts. I guess this will give some motion for people in Europe start to use BTC as a real currency.

Good news, but if I wanted to get paid on Bitcoin I would just give HD addresses and get paid over there. Why the need for a third party? I want my money to be send to me directly from p2p.

I am amusing that it¡'s because they want to have their business aligned within all laws and regulations because they don't want to work under the table so to speak, which is what basically you are doing if you are doing a job and getting paid directly on Bitcoin on a personal address (the gov will never be able to tax that).

It is an interesting feature, but would there be demand for such a service?
Do we know how many people actually use Bitwage?

Move On !!!!!!
Yeah, I am not sure that I am ready to receive an entire paycheck in bitcoin, but it is still good to see services such as this popping up.

Certainly not the whole paycheck. In my opinion not even a part of it. Bitcoin is a very nice investment but anybody investing more than 1% of their net worth shouldn't think twice about doing it. Unknowns are still huge and as much I believe in this technology, risk is really big.

It is nice to see a service like this though! Bitcoin is slowly opening all of the doors, pretty much everywhere!

This seems to be an amazing service. This was much needed. Not many people are opting for this, but there's certainly a market for these services. it seems that the service has some flaws/it's still a bit "beta", but I guess everything will be ironed out in due time, with user feedback.

I wouldn't hop on a service like this, at least for now, as there aren't many places where I could spend Bitcoin, and I'd have to convert most of the balance back to euros. Besides this, my issue would be related to the fact that someone would get my paycheck before me Tongue This service requires a lot of trust on the entity delivering it...

It's good to know that something like this exists - don't know if I'd use it myself. I would probably only want a portion of my payroll in bitcoins and in that case I'm pretty sure I get a better deal on an exchange.

I'm on your same line on this...and it would be only a small portion by the way.
And yes, it's definitely another good news.

In XEM we trust
In my opinion this feature is a bit ahead of time. At the moment i'd rather use bitcoin atm to deposit my excess cash. But I would hope, that in 5 years time I would never have to use fiat again, since bitcoin is literally eating up the fiat system.
