It never comes any better, this is so far all there is to look for in an ICO, emphasis should be placed on the technical team and the product the ICO is about to offer the market, these are two most important aspects of an ICO, a competent technical staff means that there are chances that the ICO will be a success. while a good product guarantees it a place in the market

Icos could be more profitable if its community will be confident and be ready for unexpected events and others circumstances which will have an influence. I predict that only very strong icos will be on the cryptocurrency market later and there are premises for this moveing even now. So wait for it.

The post is for informational purposes only. My subjective conclusions on the basis of various sources, engaged in the evaluation of ICO.
The first thing that begins to get acquainted with ICO is a website. Next, always look look through of a Whitepaper and Roadmap further on the spreadsheet. The result is a visual representation of the project.

Quite an interesting spreadsheet. Can be applied. Unfortunately, there is no universal tool for assessing the quality of the project. Each men is based on their experience as successful and unsuccessful.

This is good, maybe think about applying a score or rating to certain sections with formulas and then you can rate each ico you look at. see ohheymatty on tgram who does this

Yes. The parameters are the basics to look for,  yet it only guarantee a successful ICO. It may not translate to a token that will do well in the market.
unfortunately, no one knows what coin in the end it will grow well in the market. All the more on such a as now.

You are right on your point. Totally agree with you. Going through the White paper is a must before you invest. And their aim or roadmap will certainly give you a better idea about what’s your expectation and what’s gonna be your output from that particular ICO. Thanks for sharing your thought.

To evaluate an ICO by categorizing the criteria along four dimensions: Startup characteristics, Operational transparency, Crypto-sale resiliency, Business model relationships.

The information captured on the table is very valuable. This means I missed a lot or overlooked certain things when making my judgements on ICOs. I never cared about CEO, never did a background check of any team member. All I cared about was whitepaper, website, product and mostly quantity offered to be sale. From your table, I have a lot look for in my future judgments.

You can make a new column with the % of the extra tokens awarded for earlier investors. This is not exactly the same as the normal bounty. In most cases there is a fixed bounty pool that can be evaluated and recorded to the table while the amount of extra pre-sale tokens depends on the amount of  funds invested into the ICO at the current stage.
It also could be nice if there was a chance to evaluate each poing and give a final rating.

This is one of the best information i have ever found on this forum. This is well informative, educating and well enlightening. Of a truth any good ICO must fulfill all of these parameters and which must be satisfactory.
There are some ICOs though with good roadmap, but some may waver in following the roadmap. From there, investors will begin to loose trust in them.
At the same time, i have seen ICO with good white paper, good roadmap, followed step widely and at the very end, there was good result to show for it. There are good number of ICOs with such attribute.

That's really worth an applause, I am really inspired by your work and already bookmarked this page for my analysis on new ICOs in which I will invest. I always pay attention to ICO whitepaper and the team behind the ICO before considering or rejecting it.

There are too many ICOs launching nowadays. This is due to popularity of ICOs. However you need to be careful while investing in ICO. The simple reason behind so much excitement of people in ICOs is due to the large and tremendous gains many ICOs gave to their investors in the past. A huge unimaginable percentage of return are provided by some ICOs in the past. That's why people believe that some ICOs will give high returns in future also. Some ICOs that have strong team and great projects may give high returns but one need to be careful while choose a good ICO. You need to check various things while investing in ICO such as whether a working product is there or not. Also project behind ICO should have strong team. Website should have all the details. Whitepaper must explain everything. Roadmap should be clear. Also future usage of ICO tokens must be analysed. I try to make sure it is not just ripped off from another project and the concept is original.

This is pretty cool and something that is definitely needed. I always read the white paper and see if it is well written and has original ideas. I try to make sure it is not just ripped off from another project, but who has the time to read the white paper of every ICO out there to know if another is a copy of it? And of course some projects are forks of other projects, so some copying is to be expected.
