The SWGEmu is up and running well by the way if you ever want to play the real SWG again, I might log in at some point but I'm just too damn busy right now, I only have free time to chat.

everquest was the fucking shit.. way better than WoW, but also more addictive. imo, the main difference was that the game is so damn hardcore.. if you die, you lose exp. and on the server i played, if someone kills you, you end up losing your 1 piece of gear.. this caused a lot of in-battling and hatred among other players, but that's what made it so damn fun. it was also the only game that has ever made me punch a wall  Cheesy

i also remember camping out for jboots and i was so damn happy after getting it. oh, and i'd sit around town selling "KEI" for PP. i won't ever enjoy, and hate at the same time, a video game like that again.

I played EverQuest Online Adventures on the PS2 back in the day. It was my second online MMO next to Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast. I really loved that game. I never got into EQ II though because of other things I had going on at the time. What other MMO's have you played/are playing OP?

lol ooooold game Cheesy very old Tongue I still remember the famous DING level up noise, I don't think I ever really played that game properly though, pre-cu SWG was more my thing, how much have they ruined it with F2P or have they left it in its original state?

Oh, I'm sure its pretty bad. I haven't played since 2004, but from the hour I spent checking my druid and chatting, it seems they have added mercenaries for hire, evolving items, voice chat, and the current max level seemed to be 100. Worst part was that I went to Crushbone to kill some orcs, but they revamped that zone and a bunch more. I'm gonna upload some of my old screenshots, but I have about 1000 of them from 1999-2007. So I'll pick my favorites to upload.

SWG man, that game was awesome. I remember I couldn't sleep the night before launch and when I was finally able to log in, the servers kept crashing. But damn, that game was fun for a bit. I remember I had one character on a server where all I did was mine raw materials on Naboo and created a store to sell them for cheap. Made a shit ton of credits, but I never bought anything. Shit, I remember traveling for like 20mins to the middle of no where on Tatooine to arrive at a Guilds city and they were conducting a HUGE dueling tournament. Sat and watch for a while. Never played after they changed it though.

Anyone here play EverQuest back in the day?

It's free to play now, so figure I'd check out my old characters. My main is a druid on Bristlebane. Sort of pissed I did /played, found out I sunk 130Days into that game. Glad it wasn't more, but no regrets. Best times I have ever had in a video game, hands down.

Might upload all my old SS's from 2002-2004 if anyone wants to see some high end 72man raiding.
