You maybe could use an escrow in order to have less risk in purchasing something. I think this would be a good option if you aren't too sure about the legitness.

Do not deal with anyone labeled with amazon gc, all of them are scammers unless you're sure about someone's reputation or green trust member.

I'm interested in 2 things in this section.
1. Amazon Gift cards
2. Debit cards which have checking / Routing # for direct deposits (USA)
notice a TON of sellers for BOTH these items, all from 4 day old accounts OR someone with Neg Trust... WTF

I confirm that nearly all Amazon cards "sellers" in this section are scammers. A few tips to reveal them : locked threads = scammer, self moderated thread (like Jaac's one, professional scammer here) = scammer. Newbie account = mostly scammer as well.
Always check for trust, even "non relevant" ones, they can be informative. Also check for those that vouch in a seller's tread. If they are all newbies, the accounts are most probably owned by the seller himself. If he needs to vouch for himself it means he's a scammer.

Actually no shade at all, its simple, I trade Options and I have a broker that does accept USA clients any longer, I have 16 accounts with the broker, and need to make 4 more, since I reside in the USA, they can not accept my deposit from a USA bank, so I need a "WorldWide" card that I can load and make my deposit so I can trade

Curiously I am on the exact same boat as you. For Amazon (in my personal experience) I've found it's better to trade in localbitcoins, I check their trust score and the built in escrow is also a plus, that is not to say there are not scammers there though. I've also traded with a user in these forums, you can find him in my "left feedback" if you are interested. For the other thing, I have no idea, if you do find someone that isn't shady as hell, let me know.
