No use for calling for boycott,it will eventually confirm, all senders should know that they should add the necessary fee for their transactions to confirm fast, bitcoin is used for business transactions and you cannot stop people for transacting or them to transact at this hour
I think so too, the thread is not too good in the post, given the need to provide a bitcoin transaction FEE least 15k satoshi

I think you're in the wrong forum to biycott bitcoin. Your arguments are very teenager. We have money invested in the system and it's not a game, not any kiddy house in the tree club, I can buy your house with the money I invested in Bitcoin. Many people here have much more and it's serious, come take a close look into people and companies investments, read the news... Now you come here trying to do a riot... You're luck that I'm not admin of this forum because I will ban you until the year 3000.

I see where u coming from. Every time it pumps loads of spam fill the mempool, it isnt even funny anymore, then shills appear everywhere around the leading crypto related reddit subs, pointing out block size issue needs immediate resolution. See the irony? Put ur coin in a bag and hide it on a tree. Shill shitfest aint gonna last more than a week.

I'm shocked, shocked to find that shilling is going on in here!  Grin

I don't thing two wrongs make a right, I don't believe everyone should boycott BTC for 24hrs, just imagine the impact is going to have on businesses. I do believe there is a sabotage here and some miners are playing dirty but there is no proof yet, that is why we need to implement SW for initial solution and then look forward to another solution for the network

Why use BTC for transactions at all? Is there no alternative? People reading this thread should know better.  Cheesy

I would support this but i don't think some people will waste their money for transaction fees in sending bitcoins for not important matter. Most people will just move their coins ofcourse for some reason and we cant stop them for that

Boycott coin? Bounty? Pools? Exchange? Source?

Dont' send any BTC in or out from any address for 24 hours.
That's it.

 Cool

FYI:
No it is not a coin , called boycott.

Firstly, it's seems as a wrong section for this topic.
Secondly, there is not such problem at the first place, just put higher tx fee and rebroadcast tx.

It is not my money, it is a problem, it is many people, and many paid extra fees.
We can help those people out , or you can ignore them .
Your Choice?

There are people out there that there BTC has been Stalled for 22 hours or more.
Their Money is frozen.

Here is the call for the BTC community to actually do something to help these People instead of sticking their heads in the sand.

Starting at 6am GMT-05:00 on 11/23/2016 ,

Everyone that is able Boycott the BTC transaction network for 24 hours,

This will allow the old transactions to complete and people to get access to their frozen money.

Either hold your transactions for 24 hours or use an Alt like LTC to remove the strain off of the BTC network.

This also is a Message to the Mining Pools and the Devs, the BTC community will no longer accept their Lack of Action.

Proposals have been made , they need to choose one and schedule implementation.
The Mining Pools control the Network and the Dev Controls the Update,
But the Community can now show them who really makes this coin work.
BTC Community Show your Strength or be forever taken advantage of by the Devs and Mining Pools,
It is Your Choice.

But Chinese mining pool ViaBTC, currently representing some 8 percent of hash power on the Bitcoin network, has indicated it will not support SegWit activation.
Instead, the mining pool favors a hard fork to remove the one megabyte block size limit, as proposed by Bitcoin Core fork Bitcoin Unlimited.

Using data pulled from their open source simulator of a proof-of-work blockchain (bitcoin and ethereum are two such blockchains),
researchers from ETH Zürich argued that bitcoin could securely reduce its block time from 10 to 1 minute.
