I am going to be pretty conservative and say

BTC -$2500

LTC - $100

If it gets any higher than that I don't care that I'm wrong. Smiley

If everyone is so bullish then why is the price not rapidly increasing?

If you all believe what you are saying every single one of you should be buying right NOW.

That said, I do believe it should be possible to add another zero to the value of the top 3 cryptos by EOY 2104.

It's not about our personal bank accounts, it's about the Earth's collective bank accounts and the rate at which people lose faith in their respective stock market, government, and currency to diversify their portfolio and invest in something like bitcoin, that's decentralized from the government.

I see it peak at $10,000 in 2014, thnx to wall street money. Even higher ($20,000+) if chinese legalized bitcoin. We might go down a bit by end of year.

If American regulations get delayed and more governments ban etc, then peak might be around $3000

Litecoin can easily go to $500-$1000 it's undervalued and a lot of infrastructure and asic mining projects are coming up in 2015. Even if bitcoin fails to appreciate much Litecoin will probably go to $250

Certain second gen crypto will also experience strong growth.

There is always a risk of course of the price not going up by much or even tanking due to certain major events that media can link to bitcoin resulting in international government ban

BTC:  Peak of $18,000 before finding a stable bottom ~$9,000.  Ends the year over $10,000.  This may not happen until April 2015, i.e. I'm off by 4 months.
Why?  India.

My Crypto Predictions for 2014

BTC >= $10000

LTC > = $250

PPC > = $500 ~ $1000

I think this may be very conservative, seeing as BTC has done ~ 100X or so last year, and I think this gets more powerful and faster to uptake the larger the market cap. Becuase

[1] more money to be made by business
[2] and most people have no idea about cryptos so lots of room for growth, I mean even about 90% of so called experts in forbes etc have no idea about Crypto's
[3] The majors have not even had their feet wet
[4] Still so much room for a good exchange
[5] So much innovation and products in the whole CC sphere.

One interesting side effect is that you get to see how much the *leading* financial institutions and their writers/experts understand about financial/economic issues.
