Hi,

I have an EVGA SC2 GTX 1060 (small 1 fan version) and I can't seem to pass 21 MH mining ETH even with overclock. I have not changed any BIOS or anything as I dont have any idea how to do that with this EVGA.
It also uses around 100W and can mine ZCASH at around 250-270 Sols/s, which is what I'm using it for right now.

The RX580 I believe would be better to mine ETH but takes more energy... so consider the power costs of your home.

hope it helps!

PS: I bought it for  260eur with a free game, FOR HONOR.

Hi - First time miner here. Just building my rig and ordered everything... then i got a call the RX580s had been "oversold" and are out of stock...
Now i can wait 1-5weeks OR get the GTX 1060 which is in stock by tomorrow.
Im building my first rig for ETH and i already have my eye on zcash, but will do more research on that after the rig is running.

The price difference is 30£ per card. (the 1060 being 30£ cheaper per card, 6 cards total)
Saw a few videos where the RX 580 nitro had 29-31MH/s (clocked) - I would be happy with 27mh/s
However i cant seem to find and pinpoint the right MH/s for the 1060. I read reports from 18-25.(stock) and 24-27 clocked.

Could someone with more experience help me here?
