Others work where there are opportunities and where they were recommended. It's difficult to get a job in my country because the politicians diverts employment opportunities to self and families. So, the tech space is actually a place that could accommodate everyone, especially from my country if they embrace it. There are alot of freedom in the internet and tech space only if you are skilled.
Thats too bad but its inevitable on most countries that politicians diverted the jobs for their self interest. Yeah tech field is the most convincing field that everyone might get into but of course theres a barrier for skill set and tight competition too. Wonder in crypto that opportunity is quite huge and lots of privilege.

I would like to talk about two things from this.
First, I'm all in on learning a digital skill. It helps a lot to have another source of income, or you can make it your main source of income, but let's not paint things to be too easy. People talk about learning a skill and starting to earn, but it's not that easy. You have to put in a lot of work before you start earning with a digital skill. Some people have been in the field way before you; they have all the experience in the field, and those are the people who get the best jobs. After learning the basic skill, you have to invest more in yourself and learn more till you're among the best.

Also, some skills are different from others. Some are very broad, and you can't know all of them immediately, so you have to pick a certain niche and start from there. For example, Digital marketing has a lot of branches. SEO, SEM, Social media marketing, Web Analytics etc. It will be best if you focus on one first, like SEO, and grow from there. With time, you can learn other parts of it.

Most of the field of some graduates changes career for their own convenience. I know some that changing from engineering field to digital nomad type of jobs since the pay is good and they like what they do and work for. I think having any of thosw knowledge really pays off in the long run especially if you work on bkockchain industry.

Me myself looking forward on learning few stuff from the list.
In my country, only about or less than 15% of the people work in their field of discipline or practice what they studied and those are Medical doctors, a few barristers and a few other professional careers. Others work where there are opportunities and where they were recommended. It's difficult to get a job in my country because the politicians diverts employment opportunities to self and families. So, the tech space is actually a place that could accommodate everyone, especially from my country if they embrace it. Saying one will start earning even as a beginner after learning one of these skills is a misleading statement because things are not as easy as they are portrayed most of the time. Digital skills are indeed in-demand these days, but since this field is highly saturated, the competition is extremely high, and that makes it difficult for everyone to get clients and start earning money even if you have the skills. So, the biggest challenge in this field is not to learn a skill but it is to get clients so that you can cash your skills.

I have seen a good number of people with amazing digital skills and abilities, but they don't have work because they don't have clients to work for. They don't know how they can get clients so that they can use their skills to earn money, and it's not easy. Communication plays a great role, and apart from that, you must be skilled in marketing your skills as well, which is the only way for you to find clients who will hire you.

So many people are selling digital courses and stuff to teach people these skills, but they don't tell them how they can get clients, and after paying so much money and learning the skills, they still find themselves lost because they don't have a proper roadmap to follow.

Technology has literally changed so many things including the way we see things. And at this very point, only those with experience matter'e most, because companies prefers to employ those with tech knowledge and experience (most especially), than those with just the degree. All thanks to the internet itself that has made almost every knowledge free(even though not all). Today,  we all can learn different IT skills from YouTube without paying a course fee, which is clearly unlike the early days where one must have to read through an entire book that might contain more than a 100 pages.

Though, not everyone would want to go into IT related, but at least the industry keeps increasing with a good number of people joining everyday. I have come across so many IT experts who are doing well for themselves financial wise, but trust me when I say, it takes time, relentless effort and dedication to earn any of the knowledge. Most people easily give up, because continuous practices can sometimes be very tiring. But I will definitely encourage anyone to learn any IT skill.

Every person always have this story of Had I known in their history of life. For some it’ll hunt them for life while for some it is just for that period of time before they get over it. Also, getting to study that course or learn that skill at that time does not mean that you may have made it bigger through it. The story of life is written differently for everyone and you can’t trail on another’s to determine your own success.

Digital skill era is what we are in now and I don’t see the reason why at this age and time, some people will want to disregard that. Even if you never had any prior knowledge and experience about it, now is the right time to delve into it and make the best out of it. For you to have more opportunities in this digital era, it is important that you also look into areas that such skills can be applied and you learn something for yourself too.

The world is evolving rapidly, especially in the era of technology. Are you also keeping up?

I remember an uncle once told us a story about his university admission days. He was offered a course in Information Technology, but at the time, he had little knowledge about it. Thinking it wasn’t important, he declined the offer and chose another course. Now, years later, he regrets that decision every day. If he had studied that course, he believes he could have become a leader in telecommunications or even invented something groundbreaking in the telecommunication field.

Today, digital skills are more valuable than ever. Even as a beginner, you can learn a specific tech skill and start earning with it. Here are 10 demanding digital skills you can learn:

1: Graphic Design using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Canva etc
2: Digital Marketing: learn how to use SEO, social media marketing, content marketing
3: Web Development: you can  start with basics like HTML, WordPress and JavaScript to build websites
4: Video Editing using Capcut software to make  professional videos.
5: Copywriting & Content Writing: Learn how to write compelling stories
6: Data Analysis: how to use Excel to analyze data
7: UI/UX Design
8: Virtual Assistance: Help businesses with administrative tasks, such as email management, and customer support remotely.
9: Cybersecurity: Learn how to protect online systems from hackers.
10: Software Development:

The great thing about these skills is that many of them can be learned online for free or at a low cost. You can learn skills on Udemy and others platforms. These skills  offer countless opportunities to earn money  through freelancing, remote jobs, or even starting your own business.

It’s never too late to adapt to the digital world. If my uncle had known this years ago, he might be running a tech empire today. But for you, the opportunity is still open why not start now!
