I was notified by a friend of mine that this discussion was going on. I did not have a user myself in here so I just created one to check it out.
I am not going to respond or defend anything of what we are doing. It must be up to people themselves to due their own due diligence, however, I find it weird that the tendency in here is that if you don't know Evonax, then it is a scam. I'm happy to see that one user tried to make an exchange and didn't get scammed because that's not who we are. We are a relatively new exchange trying to offer a service that works for some people and obviously we cannot satisfy everyone.

Regarding our office situation, then I can tell you that we are a danish company registred as Evonax A/S in Denmark and Evonax LLC in Georgia and the sole purpose of that is due to completely crazy regulation regarding operating a cryptocurrency exchange in Denmark and that is why our activity was removed to somewhere else where we can actually operate from without being F*****. That must be something that you guys can understand with how regulation works these days.

Kind regards, Nikolaj - CEO of Evonax.com

A company who's main office as a place of business is being operated under an apartment? Like what others have said no thanks, I don't mean to revolve around them being under an apartment building but this just shows how they aren't capable of renting a formal office workplace which also means their reliability in terms of liquidity. Bragging about their Paypal capabilities is also wrong, an exchange without any KYC or any kind of proof showing their legality offering a reversible payment option? I don't think it is something to be happy with especially if they are not that trusted in the crypto industry.

I want to start by saying that I'm not affiliated with the exchange....

I needed to exchange my BTC for some ETH, so I thought it would be a good idea to try this exchange and post a review about it since there isn't much about it on the forums. I first came across Evonax when a user suggested listing it on my instant-exchanges thread.

So, I did two small trades (0.003 BTC and 0.01 BTC). Just like any other instant-exhange, the process was very simple. Sent the funds to the address provided by the exchange > waited for 1 confirmation (for BTC) > received my eth.

The first transaction took sometime to confirm (~30-45mn) which is very unusual with Ethereum (I believe they paid low fees) while the second transaction was much faster.

The exchange is new, so even though I had a good experience, I still wouldn't recommend it for large amounts of money. Use it at your own risk.

Something to keep in mind before using the exchange:

- Unlike the other instant-exchanges out there, there is no expiration time for your order (which I find a bit strange) so if you end up using this service, I suggest you send the funds shortly after creating your order, just in case there is a "hidden" expiration time.

- You're not given any transaction details (time, addresses, TXID, orderID, etc.) on the order page. If you want to check your transaction status, you'll have to do it manually by visiting their "track exchange" page, and typing your email or sending/receiving address.

As for PayPal transactions, I don't think it would be a good idea to use evonax (or any other centralized platform for that matter). If you want to avoid KYC and the outrageous fees, just go P2P.

I mistankely deleted this post a couple of days ago, so I'm reposting it.

My account was limited because of transacting with Cryptocurrency, Paypal is to good in tracking transactions they are very systematic in tracking their member's transactions and once caught you need a lot of verification and if your answer did not satisfy them they will disable your account and so are the funds, this is the bad sides in dealing with Paypal.

Accepting PayPal payment is a negative indication and is not an advantage, especially if it is from a new site and does not contain many positive feedback.
There is no trusted platform that accepts legitimate payment for services that prohibit transactions through it, accepting cryptos payments against PayPal ToS.
What drives you to lose your money in a scam platform and there are many alternative ways that you can buy.
I advise you not to support these scammers, or you will be classified as a scammer.

It was only because I had the feeling many users in here was looking for this option.

Yeah, there are definitely a lot of users who're looking for a service like this. However, most of them don't know the risk. I bet a lot of people will think twice if they know how Paypal works.

It's not a problem for us if you keep using this platform. We did warn you.

Of course it is risky! I never said it wasn't. People need to do their due diligence as with anything else.

Nevertheless, I use evonax and my personal experience has been good. I am NOT affiliate with the exchange! I'll stop posting stuff about them from now on if it seems shady. Sorry for the trouble. It was only because I had the feeling many users in here was looking for this option.

Yes, there are people actually looking for that service  however they will always want to use secured trade than using unkown exchange to do this for them.

About the paypal to btc exchange  and viceversa there are many trusted persons doing this service here so no need for them to use untrusted exchange.

Okay! Lets say I had any connection to that exchange what so ever. How is that "shady"? You don't think it's relevant or? Take a look at all the post in the forum under currency exchange and tell me how many threads is about PayPal.

they are not from a brand new account that suddenly appears and only talks about one thing! most of the times it is users that were here before, even then it will be clear if they tried to "advertise in disguise".
if you want to advertise a service then simply create a new announcement topic in the service announcement board like all the rest. and while you are at it try explaining how would users be protected against the super easy PayPal charge back?

It's good that you posted something like that, it's trade at your own risk at that exchange, I'm not going to use and will not recommend it but if you want to have a dip then do so at your own risk, it was established that Paypal and Cryptocurrency is something that will go along it's a centralized entity against a decentralized system.

Any bitcointalk user have used it?

Even if there is another user that uses this, it is still extremely risky. We're talking about Paypal which is not crypto-friendly after all.

It was ONLY a friendly reminder that they just launched PayPal for payouts. I also use Changelly for several trades and wrote a comment about them last time because someone was looking for a place to trade MKR. Is that shady too?
Till now, you have only four posts in your post history. All of them are about evonax adding paypal. There is no comment about Changelly or any other subject.
It's normal if you are an active user here in bitcointalk and want to share the info with community, when it's very shady that a new registered account to spread the same info in different boards.
BTW, the exchange you are promoting hasn't that good rate and only few reviews are available about it. Personally, i did never heard about it before. This is why i recommend people to use it with paypal at their own risks, knowing that paypal can't be associated with crypto related paiements unless with peer to peer platforms.

It's funny how you're acting as if you're just a customer of that exchange but yet all your posts are about that exchange.

Nope. Not shady at all.

Hi Guys

I usually use evonax.com for my trades and they have just launched PayPal on their platform in case you guys are looking for it. I've been following some post and it seems like quite a few are looking for this option.

Right now, they only offer payouts with PayPal, but buy crypto with PayPal should be on its way soon!

Cheers.
