I don’t know which system the paypal used to work before, but it disappoints me that out of the $100 dollars that I send, I get about $80 in the end. Since the account is now not universal and there is a double conversion from dollar to euro (since the euro paypal is open) and then back to withdraw to a dollar bank card. This is a mockery of the client.
What then stops you from using cryptocurrency? The customer has already sent me an invoice at eth. No problem. A little long later I exchanged for fiat. But as I save up money, it will be possible to invest more, and not use digital assets for cash withdrawals

Yes, I totally agree. The topic is crypto recently, but so far I have difficulties. In my country, it turned out that the usual exchanges accepting fiat are not all available. I heard that they said crypto, you can exchange and receive anywhere. But this is not so. Ethereum sales are possible either from intermediaries whom I do not trust or through a long kyc verification process, which I did not fully understand. I am a citizen of Russia, but now I live in Europe, I have documents for life here. And the exchange asks for data on the current place of residence, and then you need to specify the address on the passport ... in short, I got confused

If the exchange does not ask further to confirm your current place of residence and provide checks for an apartment or something similar, then indicate the details of your national passport. For a better understanding of the process of buying Ethereum, I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the training materials on the taklimakan network. There are articles for beginners about trading, buying crypto, etc. Passing the KYC may confuse you, but it is not difficult. And much more profitable than using paypal transactions

I could use the paper services, but you know that they are not available if the paper did not enter into an official agreement with the government. This situation is not adequate in my opinion. And I can’t receive cash, only send (as if paying for goods online). But I'd rather go look for crypto stores than use an inferior service

I remember that hype that surrounds this project then, some guys decided to be hyping the project in the name of Ex-PayPal developer was behind it, what I was telling people then was that we have been here before, the ex Mozilla, the Ex-Javascript developers and co. All these do not guarantees success

You are right and this project is two years late. If this was launched in 2017, their names and so-called IT reputations could bring about ICO investors easily. But lately nothing great is coming to crypto. All just a dime a dozen new startups.

This was really promoted everywhere in the last 12 to 18 months but no solid development or product launched yet so it was another project based on marketing gimmicks only and nothing solid.

If initiative Q is not a blockchain based project then i think there is no real use to post and discuss it here as this is a totally blockchain and crypto based discussion forum and this section is specifically related to altcoins.

Why would they create their own currency if they're not incorporating the blockchain in to their project? There seems little reason, your average person is going to want to conduct their transactions in fiat.

Definitely this is a great news as PayPal is a popular figure when it comes to payment and transaction, and I believe it will gain it's user slowly if this happens. Because investors will have faith in their development and technology.

Initiative Q  is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system called Qs  currency. If this payment system becomes a world leading payment method  Qs  currency can be worth a lot. If you missed getting bitcoin seven years ago, you wouldn't want to miss this.
