Hello everyone,

is there a way to exchange btc to fiat with cash by mail as payment method and no KYC?
There was agoradesk once, but now the website is winding down. Hodl Hodl has very few offers with 1K € as minimum which might be too high sometimes.
Can not use bisq at the moment, even though I did not fully understand if there are offers of people that want to buy btc with cash by mail option (can someone confirm that please?)
Thanks for your help

Don't do that, dealing people through anonymous ways could lead you to losing money. Much better if you use your bank account and deposit funds through online transfer because it's much safer than that.
You can exchange btc and other crypto coins at trusted exchange sites like binance, coinbase, mexc and other trusted platforms.

I guess I don't have trust issue, even though I know what you said might happen.
I'm still quite new with crypto, but the main purpose for me using it is privacy
Things might change if investment will become my main objective, but still learning about crypto

Good thing that you're always open for learning many things in crypto, hopefully you'll be able to acquire different knowledge for you to become skillful with trading in the future. Every suggestions here has a different insights, so cherish it and don't ignore brilliant ideas because it's really helpful for those person like you.

OP why not just create your own trade, and write down you only accept cash by mail (choose cash option first).

Afaik, hodlhodl is also on a no-mandatory kyc policy, no? I did remember they were using non custodial wallet though settling trades solely with your counterparty and without hodlhodl can get too technical for an average person.

For now. I don't remember when I read it but Localcoinswap and hodlhodl have both said they don't want kyc but may be forced to do it at some point.

It's kinda what happened to localbitcoins too.

If you want a business with legit name and address and tax etc, sooner or later you must comply.

If I'm not wrong Peach Btc and Robosats do not offer cash by mail as payment option.
Thank you for the forum section suggestion though

Last I checked, robosats lets people input whichever payment method they wanna use so cash by mail option is technically possible.

Understood, so I could try creating an offer with that payment method and see if someone is interested. Thanks

To be honest I've never used it.
The main reason is that I should understand a bit more how it works and learn some general computer knowledge.
I had it on macOS and I was able to install it by miracle  Grin I didn't find it really user friendly. Now with bisq 2 I probably made a bit of a mess and I am not able to open it.
I guess I'll try to figure it out better in the next few days as I can see it is the best solution for no kyc

I reckon on windows would be a bit easier, wouldn't it?

@blackoutinside Would you mind sharing with us why you can't use Bisq at the moment?
It's seem to be one of the few best options left at the moment if we put aside the issue of liquidity. it might actually end up becoming the last man standing when it comes to no KYC p2p exchanges.

Bisq 2 loads much quicker and a little easier to use than the older version.

Peach Bitcoin or Robosats are the options.
lnp2pbot if you want to have Bitcoin in lightning network.

I don't see any more sites that offer No KYC trade, another option is you can post your offer on this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

If you're up for a no-mandatory kyc exchange, try to also check on localcoinswap.com -- not to be confused with flat out no-kyc exchanges as no mandatory also means they can ask for your deets anytime.
