Agreed. But shop around -- particularly if you live in a city, you can often buy/sell at spot to reputable members if you are trading above certain volume thresholds. Also, you should consider getting some reputation yourself -- that way, you can charge a premium, and customers will come to you.
Also, if doing cash deals, you don't need Localbitcoins escrow, obviously. So you can just cancel the deal and save on the fees.

Hi guys, I recently made some btc and I'm looking turn it into cash, in cad to be specific. Before the rates are very high, do you guys know any ways that can do this for me with a low rate? Thanks, please suggest 
My preference is always Localbitcoins. I just sell the coins for cold hard cash, and usually, I even charge a premium (and the buyer is more than happy to pay it). This depends on where you live though. I live in a busy metropolitan area. YMMV.
you are running bit-x, you can use their credit card, or their exchange to cash out in fiat

On btc-e the fees are not that high to mastercard/visa i think around 3% which is very good, there are other exchanges aswell you can check all the posts in this section to inform yourself
