I honestly wonder now if there's any coin that still gets listed the "traditional" way... because it's good and the service thinks they would like to serve the community further. I think now casinos are the only ones that list without a fee.

That would be nice, devs would be able to utilize their funds that way. But we need an inside information to know that right? since there's no transparency.
And the authorities are more concerned in making sure the users are clean.

I know HitBTC was shite, but Cryptopia? The way they've just gone under, repeatedly showing their ineptitude, and yet still being able to command that kind of fee?

You said it! and seeing that you need to pay with their coin and buy a shitload of them, it's actually two birds in one stone.

i personally know of two exchanges i researched regarding listenting

1. allcoin

allcoin:

wanted something like 60'000 USD

2. cryptopia

cryptopia:

there is a listing fee of 2000000 DOT.

i doubt we will be able to continue the decentralisation of the financial system if the rich like in the case of ripple will corrupt buy themselves to the top

regards

the open DEXes like waves dex will rule in the long term.

Even on a mid-tier exchange like HitBTC, they charged 500+ ETH, and that didn't go through: https://medium.com/karmared/hitbtc-is-having-karma-issues-c85eb23da4fe

Lol serves them right! By the way I found this on reddit. This is what they charged back in decemeber 2017, when bitcoin is priced at 15K-17 US Dollars:
https://imgur.com/a/Qd9WQV0. Even the blog and twitter post aren't free

Cryptopia meanwhile charges 5000000 DOT - currently $0.013297 USD = $66K+ (in total)

Yeah. Searched long and hard for that list I was talking about... can't recall if it was in Discussion or Service, either way seems to have been eaten up by the ether.

Really need to get them DEXs moving. Maybe in five years easy Bitcoin cross chain with the major players.

I'm in the wrong business.

this is why vitalik said he hopes centralised exchanges burn in hell. because they serve the rich, why decentralise the financial system with cryptos then?

I couldn't find it but a couple of weeks ago someone posted the BTC fees for listing on major sites. We know for sure that Coinbase charges in the millions, if we believe token owners who've publicly said so. Vitalik also recently decried these crazy fees. I recall end of last year Bittrex was charging for months... this guy says Coinpayments does the same: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/150k-euroyear-listing-fee-at-coinpaymentsnet-must-pay-25-to-receive-a-quote-4593690 though that's not exactly an exchange.

Small wonder everything's falling apart

corruption in the industry securing the rich to pay and corrupt themselves on the top spot to continue stay the rich wow,

someone that would create us such an info data would be a great person and would get my merit

I'm curious about how much it costs to list tokens on cryptocurreny exchanges, but I've found estimates all over the place: free, $15k, $1-3M, $10-15M...

I know it's a case by case situation, does anyone have analysis on the cost for each exchange or even a ball park estimate?

Thanks!

the entire business is pure corruption,

people should avoid the expensive exchanges that take listening fees, like binance, and check the free exchanges like waves dex,

the more central something is the more corruption you can expect.

It hard to know the exact amount of money or btc which most of the exchange site collect to ll coin on their site since none of them disclose their price and the best w to know that is bg contacting some of the cryptocurrency exchange which can be find on this forum or contact some coin Dev that are already listed on a particular exchange site so you can know the actual price.

Varies by exchange. But most are between 5k-80k, with the big ones being the hundreds of thousands.

I don't think there is any list because almost no exchange discloses their numbers.

Yobit is the only one I know: https://yobit.net/en/addcoin/

• Free - 0.00 btc - no guarantee
• Premium - 0.1 btc - 4-7 business days (no guarantee in case of compilation issues)
• Exclusive - 0.5 btc - 2-3 business days (no guarantee in case of compilation issues)

But some articles suggest that most can charge up to $3 million.
