thanks for all answers and help, i decided to exchange XMR to BTC using "ExCh" (https://exch.cx/) and therefore sell my BTC to fiat. also can vouch about this exchanger since i didn't have any problems with this exchanger so far, anything from liquidity, time, fees etc. was good, definitely gonna use "ExCh" from now on.  Grin

hello, im sorry if there is another thread for this, i didnt found it, simply what's the best way to exchange XMT for fiat currency..EUR or USD?

I think you already got the answer from other members, but in my opinion it depends on your purpose because Monero is still supported in many CEX, if you think of selling it without being subject to when asking for personal information, you can also choose from a number of suggestions from members who have provided it. Anyway, things aren't that complicated, it's just how you choose them.

Buy Bitcoin using fiat, possibly from P2P exchanges like Robosats, Bisq, HodlHodl etc. and then use the BTC to buy Monero in the same platforms. Alternatives you can send the purchased BTC for swap into XMR in no KYC swap services like exch.cx

I think you know why it's hard to find a direct way to purchase Monero using fiat/cash.

XMT? what do you mean the nativ token of this dex swap https://coinmarketcap.com/id/currencies/metalswap/ ?

I checked the new listing on dex and this is what I found,

Sorry, maybe you previously got this from a presale or event prize in the past? Never mind Wink.

You can try Pencake swap with pair XMT to WBNB, or UNIswap on chain polygon with pair USDCe to XMT or chain optimism with WETH and USDCe. If it is already a pair (bnb, usdc, eth) P2p transactions are easier or you can send to other exchanges including local exchanges in your area if they are available. because it is very accepted anywhere as long as it is in a country that allows it because the 3 coins are very easy to use and many need it, hopefully your journey is enjoyable in getting used to transactions and exchanging crypto including on dex.

note: leave the gas fee with the chain that will be used. maybe 1-5 $ that will not be used all, cex den dex is different.

As long as you're going to go through with a centralized exchange, you'll get traced. By the way, when you ask about the best? does it mean that you're retaining your privacy or not? So, the first best way is to exchange it P2P. As suggested by other members, go through with nonkyc exchange because most of the centralized exchanges have already removed them, the exchanges listed on: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monero/ are mostly centralized.

Basically, since monero coin has been delisted in almost all centralised exchanges or infact has been removed from centralised exchanges you should probably use a decentralised exchange.

I'm not a promoter of any exchange but you can try the one that is advertised here in the forum like Exch. Since it's a non KYC exchange it will be good for you apparently.

You can also search for another non KYC exchange that you find comfortable that convert you monero coin into any stable coin then you can move to your favourite exchange for fiat.

Try checking at Bestchange, because I see there are several exchanges listed there that provide exchange of Monero for Fiat via bank transfer or other types. For complete details, you can check directly there. https://www.bestchange.com/

This exchange no longer has promotions on this forum so maybe you will have difficulty contacting them if it turns out there are problems and for KYC I don't know for sure, but it's definitely something you don't expect because in my opinion people who hold Monero because they want privacy and KYC means there is no more privacy

If you really want from XMR to fiat then p2p is the best way than picking any exchange since governments are shaking down the privacy coins and service providers for a while.

BISQ is very good option and I bet there will be decent volume for USD or EUR but if it's other fiat then it depends on the availability of traders from the exchange.

Other option will be convert XMR to any crypto like USDT or ETH or any crypto that's available on exchanges then you can convert that crypto to fiat on exchanges itself.

Lots of exchanges have now delisted monero and it has become relatively harder for holders of monero to buy and sell at their will. However there are still some remaining exchanges, a lot of them non-custodial, that still have monero and where you could buy and sell and swap for fiat.

The best way is still peer to peer, always.

That is correct a good number of CEX have delisted XMR and that has become a big issue with holders and investors. There are a fe DEX where it is still being traded. It better to check the exchange list on CMC and coingecko.

Monero seems removed from major exchanges but there are still exchanges where you can exchange this into fiat but I never tested them.

Check the list of exchanges from this link below and click the market

Another option you can use nonkyc exchange you check them from the following link

The last option use Exch under my signature and exchange monero for a stable coin like USDT and send it any exchange you want since USDT is supported by most all exchanges you have many options where you can exchange this and then into fiat same goes to XMR to BTC.
