Simply put, simply exchange altcoin into bitcoin, from bitcoin exchange to your currency...very simple
correct! And I think it is legal. You do not have to worry about that.

basically you need to go to other website which will accept your coin. Sell the coins you have and exchange it to bitcoin or any other coins you want to hold. or exchange to moneys if you like

Hi guys...!!!
In my country(India) only a few Bitcoin exchanges are authorised and they all trade only in BTC and one or two in ETH, ZCASH and DASH. Now I am mining Ubiq and monero. Any idea on how I can get these converted to my local currency (INR). Can I use bitconnect and convert my coins to eth or dash. Would that be legal or no?Huh
 Huh
If there are available  BTC exchange in your country that you can easily convert it to fiat, this is easy you need to just convert your Ubiq or MONERO in BTC then exchange it to fiat.

Why not try something different. Contact your exchangers and ask if they would like to buy Ubiq and Monero for you at a good IDR price? If you are constantly mining, you might as well sell it at exchanges for USDT or USD if you want to instantly convert to fiat. Find an exchange that can withdraw to Payeer or similar. Then you use that to bank withdraw to your IDR. This is NOT illegal if you declare everything.

Not sure about the details of the fiat transfers, or the legality of it all, sorry!

I imagine it would be cheaper (less fees?) to just go from alt->bitcoin->rupee.. depends on how much it costs to send USD?

I also dont have an idea about that matter maybe just try some exchange for you to know if it is legal or not but make it sure that it will not scam you along the way.

The best and shortest way:
- go to changelly.com and convert your altcoins to Bitcoins
(if your altcoins are not supported by changelly, open a free account on Bittrex)
- sell your Bitcoins on coinsecure.in or Unocoin

This is completely legal.

shapeshift better i think they have more coins and their comissions are lower than changelly.

I just wanted to check the legality and possibility of everything before starting out.
Thanks,

You could use another exchange to convert from an altcoin to Bitcoin, then send that Bitcoin to an Indian Bitcoin exchange.
Thank you I will do that... Also would it be possible to convert it to USD on another exchange and then convert the USD directly to INR at a foreign exchange or debit it to my account? Would that be legal?
