Exchange rates right in the QT-wallet, relatively easy to implement.

Well, implementation is not an issue. We can build an open-source library based on cryptonator's public API. What we wanted is to figure out if coin devs want it

It is a lovely idea however the QT-wallet is meant to be barebones and not bloatware. This is why it does not have all the bells, whistles and assorted things..Such as chats, price tickers, customizable front end graphical things beyond what it has.

The question is which exchanges u'll consider & which currencies U'll support ? And yes, u need to fork out the QT wallet code and name it something else.

Coin devs will decide which exchanges to consider in calculations. All currencies listed on Cryptonator will be supported. We are fetching market info across 30+ exchanges every 30 seconds

Hey guys!

Fellow member of our IRC channel #cryptonator just came up with an interesting idea, which we'd like to discuss with the community

The idea is to display actual exchange rates of a cryptocurrency right in its QT-Wallet

This can be an additional tab next to the "Addresses"  or a tiny price ticker on the balance page

We could develop it using Cryptonator's API and opensource it on github, so the community can approve it and push toward further development

Please share your thoughts

Approved !!! U can move with it... Smiley
