This is a great security rating, good work many_merit!!

Security is also part of our Cryptocurrency Exchange List. We have tested all the domains of close to 400 cryptocurrency exchanges in the Observatory-test, by Mozilla. The score goes from A+ to F and we found that a surprisingly large number of exchanges only received an F.

The following exchanges were the only ones to receive A+, A or A-:

BitMEX (A+)
Coinbase Pro (A+)
UPbit (A+)
CPDAX (A+)
Kraken (A-)
Bitonic (A-)

All the best,

I can't fully believe in Ratings and Ranking, I only trust those exchanges that I often go and always satisfy me.
This is like the ICO Ratings website. Everyone understands that money can solve all problems about Ratings or Ranking.
The same is true for exchanges, as long as they are willing to spend money, the Ratings website can give them what they want.
In my opinion, the reputation accumulated by an exchange for a long time is the most important.

There are a lot of exchanges that i have never heard of getting the top ratings. Strangely binance didn't get anywhere near the top even though it is the most exchange in the world.
You mean one of the most known exchange in the world and successfully use it. I think they only care about their earnings not to customers as exchange sites also need the team's care so they will only have less time for customer service.

I will only consider to believe the ratings or reviews of a well-known user who have already experiences on using a certain exchange site services. And of course, you will realize if you make your own test. Do they publicly included the source how they rated those exchanges?

In general, you shouldn't trust such ratings as well as different icos ratings because they don't mean anything.
Nowadays you can buy yourself a place in almost any rating, so it makes no sense to pay attention to them.

Yes Binance is number 17. But I don't understand how the points are awarded. Binance has 2 out of 5 under registrar and domain security. Does anyone know how they determine those points? Because it looks very strange that Binance would miss to protect their domain properly. But then most exchanges are low in that category with the exception of CobinHood, Bibox and some other that have 4 out of 5.

Liquid is not on this list? As far as I know they are one of the most secure exchanges, KYC is needed, they use only cold wallets and are nearly impossible to hack.

Even the top rated security exchanges fails to protect their customers. The lack of concern to the plight of customers after a theft has occurred on there platform is not acceptable

I captured only the top 39 on icorating.com. If you want to read more see below.
What's interesting is that Okex, huobi are relatively low at 42,47.
