Came across this data from https://x.com/CryptoRank_io/status/1809181019246903692?t=D6_VCy5VephjRtj8I1my3g&s=19 about exchange with top capital inflow in Q2.. do you agree with the list? Any surprises?
I can only hope this statistic is correct judging by the source of the data, however, it makes some sense with the top-rated ones I know. I know that Binance will always make the first position, but Bitfinex and Bitget taking the second and third positions respectively are strange to me.

For this, I disagree with these statistics, they seem different from what I saw on Coinmarketcap and the rest.

What is the point of this thread?
Since I see Bitget is mentioned as the exchange with 3rd highest inflow and OP is a known Bitget shill, answer to what's the point of this thread is pretty simple.

Regarding the list, just another proof that no matter how many centralized exchanges go bust, people won't learn the lesson and will continue to use them. Eeven when themselves loose the money.

Bybit is there though, ranked 4th. But, yeah, I can't see OKX. I also can't see other huge and popular platforms like Coinbase, Kraken, KuCoin, Huobi, Crypto.com, and more others that have probably much higher capital inflows than the likes of MaskEX or Korbit that surprisingly made it to this top 10.
If some of those were included, that means Bitget would be lower.  Wink

I stated the purpose of the thread actually. I use Bitget & other platforms for trades, I think everyone in here is entitled to use any platform of their choice and share their opinions on them here right? . Despite ftx collapse cex have rallied together and try to gain confidence of their users via various means and should be commended for their efforts so far .I'll suggest you see cex from a neutral perspective and reply to threads with an open mind without bias moving forward. 👍

I'm not surprised to see the top on that list, Binance has a lot of users, and any user that contributes and deposits there is already considered as a capital inflow for that exchange. However, I see a low-key marketing and shilling of the third place.  Cheesy
Anyway, if they are real numbers and movement of inflows to the exchanges, congratulations to the ones that are thriving and gaining popularity for Q2.

Yeah same here not surprised.. what about the 2nd place?

And the purpose is to talk about omissions of big platforms and discuss about possible reasons..
I do not think that chart is correct. As you posted, this can also be related to liquidity. OKX and Bybit will be before many exchanges on the chart but both are not on the chart.

I'm not sure about the reason behind the omission of certain platforms but there is obviously a discrepancy. Bybit is there though, ranked 4th. But, yeah, I can't see OKX. Although I don't consider the data of Coingecko, more so of Coinmarketcap, as trustworthy and reliable, CryptoRank.io is certainly not as trusted as them either.

Would also mean the exchange is highly liquid that institutions seem it worthy to trade their alts in...
You can easily see on Coingecko or Coinmarketcap the 24 hours trading volume of each exchanges. Also on the exchange, you can easily see the trading volume of a coin in different time interval. Even on Coingecko or Coinmarketcap, you can click on a coin and click on exchanges or market respectively which will show you the exchanges the coin is listed and how liquid the coin is on your exchange.

What is the point of this thread?

Sometimes the reason people talk about exchanges inflow is because they are thinking that people want to sell their coins by moving it to exchanges. While exchanges outflow is seen as people moving the coins to a noncustodial wallet to hold it.
