What's going on?

If that's me you're talking about, I stated originally I wasn't taking over active development, I was only fixing the error it had.

Was curious about this but I see one of their people's work on galaxcycoin that is no work at all. Looks like a scam.

I am sorry this occurred.  We actually found this bug right away and shut down the site immediately to address it. I want to iterate this bug had in no way given any user access to another users account or access to their funds. It was simply mixed up within our database and on the frontend only. We still addressed this as soon as possible. And this is one of the set backs of being in open beta. We will have small bugs like this that we will be addressing. We have handled and fixed almost all of them so far and we are getting a step closer to an official launch everyday.

I would like to apologize that you did not receive a response right away. It is not our business practice to monitor this thread 24/7. We are too busy connecting to users via twitter, irc, skype, and addressing any issues via our well established support desk located at https://support.vaultex.io.  We monitor that directly and any support ticket goes straight to our mobile devices and is viewed by 5 people instantly. It is sad you have chosen whether to conduct business with us for not simply opening up a support ticket. We would have addressed it a lot sooner and also at least given you a detailed response and status update on the issue.

We hope you give us another chance.  

In the meantime I would please ask you to remove or edit the image above, even though we will make sure that user changes all his info.

Hey mate, before I say anything else, just going to ask you to make a ticket next time, as that reaches us faster, (being as the ANN is more for announcements from us, this actually reminded me to watch this ann).

Thanks for letting us know of this bug, we've started solving it, and believe it to be fixed (we're not done testing yet).

There are small bugs in vaultex, but no security flaws yet (this was no exception, just an unfortunate leak of user data, again, resolved.)

As I was registering an account on your new trading platform, I believe to have discovered a very interesting security flaw.

Upon verifying my account registration via e-mail, I clicked the link that was provided to me in the e-mail.

The link directed me to an existing account, with full access to it.



I'm not trying to create FUD, I'm just a concerned user who was registering to purchase ICO Stemcoin.

But after discovering this flaw, I will be reconsidering that decision.

I hope this notice is taken seriously.

One remark though; I transferred some FAIR to the exchange. Eventhough it was visible almost instantly, it took over an hour to be confirmed.

It would be great if VaultEx would support FairCoin in it's exchange. 
The more decentralized our coin becomes, the better!

MazaCoin is a good pick IMO.  You may also want to look at adding Anoncoin the way it's bubbling up.  As Anoncoin aim to have Zerocoin on their testnet by next Wednesday.  While a trustless implementation of Zerocoin has long been considered the true holy grail of transaction anonymity.  FairCoin also looks another very interesting coin to add now that FairCoop are on board.  I'd also say NHZ looks quite interesting even though it's just looks like a NXT clone.  As all NXT coins were initially distributed amongst just only seventy-two 'founders'.  While NHZ aim to improve on this by distributing all the coins via bounties towards development and promotion etcetera.

I completely apologize. I have done my due diligence when posting this thread multiple times over. But it obviously cannot prevent small typos. It was meant to say 15-20 coins and I have edited the OP to refect this. Thank you very much for pointing this out. I have also added Exchange to the title to clear up any confusion, I actually meant to when posting.

This announcement looks like it's for a coin. You might want to specify that this is for an exchange in the thread title or move it to another section of the forum.


Also, you state that you're going to launch with 15-520 different coin markets. That's a gigantic difference between the first and the second numbers. Why has no clear selection of coins been made?

We chose not to actually launch a PoS type coin. But rather control it on our end. It is all handed within our backend server system. Basically a coin on our system without an actual daemon or ability to withdrawal. They will only be able to be traded on Vaultex.
