Go to playstore if you own an Android smartphone and search for cardtonic app, this app is very good for selling gift cards in exchange for coins like Bitcoin, it's safe and the reviews are good, no bad review so far

Believe me you aren't going to see a fair rate that's why I don't like exchanging gifts card to coins or vice versa, the rate is always too much, last time I used paxful I lost my card and never received any coin

That's right! Most of the platform ask huge fee to convert alts to gift card or the price for the gift card is damn higher than the typical market! I tried the Cardxcoin through the Blockburn token, but the exchange ratio was unexpectedly good! But as they were new, I did not take a risk by giving a higher volume of money to convert into gift cards.

thats right . what you did is good because you didnt put huge amount of sums especially if they are new or as long as you are doubting because its hard to regret at the end if you knew that you loose the money that you cant afford to loose.  service like converting cryptos to something will always ask high fees but i dont care as long as the service is good and i have no complaints . we should be thankful for them at the first place because they make the service possible and they are also risking thier selves because of the volatility of crypto .

Can someone please suggest a good marketplace for swapping the altcoins and purchase gift cards? I mainly look for Amazon, eBay, Target gift cards. Only Bitify and Bitrefill have this option but the rates are lower than average market prices. Coinsbee.com and coincards.com also have the altcoins section for buying gift cards but there is no review site to check the quality of service. If someone has a suggestion, don't hesitate to share your experience.

Coinsbee.com is a trusted site you can choose to buy from all sorts of gift cards, you can even use LN for payments. I have tried their service 2 weeks ago and it works fine, even though I had a problem but they provided good support and the issue was resolved in 10 minutes. you can check other reviews here.
I would recommend coinsbee to anyone who wants to buy online while maintaining their privacy without going through e-wallets.

I think to exchange altcoins for various gift cards, https://cardxcoin.com is the better option. I tried this platform when Blockburn partnered with them. The process is very simple and the fee is appropriate here. As CardXcoin is still new, so, the fee is very less here, and the exchange ratio pretty high! You can have a try it!

It is always a very bad rate for gift cards from my experience and that is already using bitcoin. For altcoins the rate gets even worse. I do get the concept of gift cards, it is just easier to spend but I always wondered how to people use up gift cards that have small balances left? Like, you can always buy $5 or $10 but what if something costs $8.95?

You should complain to Paxful if they have any customer care system or any trust system. Otherwise post about this in the "Scam Accusations" section and you might see some help coming in from other users of this forum.

To the OP, I dont think there are too many merchants accepting altcoins directly. You can try using shapeshift after passing their KYC/AML and then using it to convert to bitcoin. You cannot expect to get every new ICO coin to be listed on every merchants payslip, but bitcoin has a higher chance of being there as well as the top 3-4 altcoins.

I haven't tried any of these services but check this full list for what you are looking for.

Maybe one of them is the one that you really need.
