If you can't find any services that takes your btc without doing any KYC, you can try bitrefill.

https://www.bitrefill.com/

Bitrefill is a giftcard provider which takes your crypto and doesn't require you do any KYC. Since we almost always top our mobile phone or buy stuff from amazon and similar retailers, getting giftcards are almost as good as having FIAT.  Their margin is like 10% on the product I am looking at right now. It is not the lowest but it is better than nothing I guess. Maybe use it as a temporary solution till you find a better deal.

 Shocked I forgot about bitrefill!

Lmfao they literally have a prepaid mastercard option. I feel better.

@mindrust thx legend, will +1 merit when I can.

Thorswap is being funky at the moment:

What I did was:

1.) Thought about freewallet, so I sent the LTC from atomic to freewallet.
2.) Tried using their exchange, but minimum requirement for exchange of LTC to BTC is 300 dollars, when I'm trying to exchange 200$  Roll Eyes (The hell lol???)
3.) Sooo onto thorswap, I chose the xdefi wallet since that's the only supported LTC wallet. Sent LTC from freewallet to xdefi.

This is as far as I have gotten so far.

Am I doing something wrong on thorswap? Or is there something going on with atomic swapping at the moment?

I haven't used it, but I'm pretty sure swapping coins<->coins using atomic wallet is going to be bad in terms of fees and slippage.

Outside of the typical centralized exchange, you can try out ChainFlip and ThorSwap. I have personally used both with no problem. Just check which is better in terms of fees.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
Are you sure it’s 0.00033 BTC? The margin is too much.
While you are looking for a solution, I really hope that we can get more adoption so this wouldn’t be needed. Both altcoins and Bitcoin. Because there’s an extent we could get to and you wouldn’t need to convert your altcoin or Bitcoin to fiat but would rather just make purchases or payments with them.

So basically, my main method of changing bitcoin to fiat is through Cashapp.

I get bitcoin from x place, send it to my Cashapp, and can turn it into fiat right there.

Cashapp only offers bitcoin in terms of cryptocurrency you can interact with on their platform, which to me is a "good" sign, rather than a bad one. I mention this incase the question arises, "Why are you using Cashapp to begin with?".

What I normally do for altcoins involves Atomic Wallet as the main hot wallet (yes I know about the recent security breech) and have x coin sent there. Then, I exchange the altcoin to bitcoin on atomic wallet.

Cashapp does not accept bitcoin from atomic wallet. Why? Not a darn clue.
However, what I figured out I can do is just exchange altcoin to bitcoin on atomic wallet, and then import that bitcoin wallet to another platform that cashapp accepts bitcoin from. Through trial and error, I found that Bluewallet is a platform compatible with Cashapp. Bluewallet is regarded as top-tier, so this isn't surprising to me.

That still leaves me with my initial problem:

1.) Bitcoin fees are super high right now due to halving and other reasons.
2.) 100$ of LTC, roughly 1.17 LTC, would exchange into 0.00033 BTC  Undecided on Atomic Wallet.
3.) I think my grandad would say that's a less than savory trade Grin. I agree.

TLDR: I need a platform to change altcoins into fiat, because changing bitcoin to fiat is too heavy on transactions. For me personally, and my current life situation, it's best for me to change altcoins into fiat, while never touching BTC unless necessary. I am US-based. Hope that helps!

Thank you <3
