Nobody will stop mining just because it’s Summer trust me. I also had this theory years ago thinking that due to the massive heat people will shut off their rigs or since it’s no longer winter they don’t need it to heat their house.

However the difficulty never went down due to change in seasons. The only time difficulty went down was due to a bad bear market and people had no choice but to shut down their rigs because they were losing money mining, it was much cheaper to buy the coins for most.

Who would dare shut down their way of making money because of the weather 🤣 ? This is funny tbh bear market is the only reason why people sell their GPU and rigs and this will affect mining difficulty alot which makes the remaining miners the real winners because they will make more ETH than in USD value.

Still planning on getting yourself those shiny GPUs because the price are down 11% well now isn't a good time to buy graphic cards.

1. The main reason why you should wait is because price are dropping and by the mid of this year gpu price will be better, since February some GPUs even go way down to 15% , at one point the shortage will end.

2. New generations of GPUs are on the way, by second half of the year I'm expecting AMD RX7000 to launch, for Nvidia the RTX4**** are coming.

3. Before RX7000 and RTX4*** gets here the Intel Alchemist GPUs are on the way which they promised huge amount of supply.

All you need to do is have some more patience I believe this will pay off.

I agree with your analysis.  There is also the summer approaching and nobody wants extra heat when they're already having to cool their home down (for home miners).  Waiting until after summer could mean a newer generation graphics card for cheaper, without it being used, and instead of paying to cool the cards for the summer you'll be enjoying their heat for the winter.  With graphics card prices plummeting and the supply chain issues still being worked through as a new generation of cards is about to hit the market, now would seemingly be the obvious time to wait.  If that will end up being the smart thing, we'll have to wait and see.  Crypto is always full of surprises.

In fact we just need to know how to wait with the release of the new series of gpu from amd and nvidia the price of the current gpu will definitely go down and with the end of eth mining it will go down further i believe that by the end of the year we will also reach a minus 40% on the mid-range cards

At the end of ETH mining? I don't believe that ETH mining will ever come to an end because other smart contract projects don't have PoW algorithm only ETH has this and this is one of the reasons why ETH is big today, right now I'm sure vitalik buterin must be thinking same thing in his mind, the day ETH abandon PoW is the day ETH won't make sense anymore.

I also believe in this, that is why I am still holding my mini farm. If they go to full staking, they should've done it last December right? They've delayed the process and I think they have planned to maintain PoW in eth. Also the graphics card industry is getting a lot of money from these, Vitalik might've already getting portions of the profits, this is just my opinion though and not proven but it is possible.

I have bought a low range GPU like RTX 2060 but I have also other money which I can use when the RX 7000 Series come out, they should be better than Nvidia as I believe the LHR should be still in place in their cards.I think having patience now and seeing how things unfold later in the coming months can be the most sound of any other judgments.I am not afraid at all that ETH mining will end and move to PoS from PoW with all the geopolitical tensions going on in the world right now.

The purchase of graphics cards will be greatly influenced by the news about the end of Ethereum mining. RX7000 and RTX4 *** will appear in Q3 or Q4 and it will only be high-performance graphics cards at a very high price. Intel Alchemist needs to be watched in mining tests. In the meantime, the most video cards are RX6000 and RTX3 ***.
