With such high prices, you could at least take some gains, but the truth is we won't be able to see such a high return on investment as we saw in this year. From 10 dollars to around 1000 , 9900% return, ... Now it won't be easy to get easy money out of, whatever may be the future.

Once again Kudos to Benson for hitting the nail on it's head.  Shocked

It's as if all the world exchanges were waiting for Benson to publish this article on Exit or Hold.

No sooner was this published, the BTC price came crashing down.

You called it bothways  Grin

Benson,

I would not sell unless I had to

BTC's are only going to get harder to acquire going forward

The volatility is brutal but think what we are seeing out of China runs deeper than mere speculation

My 2 bitcents anyways

Yes.. I am quite sure, that I will not be selling all.

Wild swing in prices is first indication, No real growth and only speculative adoption second indicator, Everyone is just holding off and people start charging 50% premium over prices third indicator...

So... The price is kinda nice and my Bitcoins are ripe enough to exit.
Owing to the fact that I have spent a rather obnoxious sum of Bitcoin over the past year, I am terrified to sell at this point, even though it seems like the price is right.

Questions:

1. Nothing can answer for this sudden growth of Bitcoin. Is it real?
2. What are the possibilities of a full fledged Bitcoin economy in the next 24 months? That would completely override any reason to sell.
3. What happens if there is a crash? People are bound to lose large sums of money. Will they come back or will more people get on board?

This has been a crazy month. I do hope that we get to see some form of stability soon or merchant adoption will get even tougher. Some of my clients have pulled their products from the shelf's as well as their BTC value has dropped dramatically.
