Exodus does not process transactions directly but through a third party and although Exodus does not require KYC from users, third parties do, and their exchange rate is a bit high.
Sorry for your loss but Exodus is not a good wallet and definitely not a crypto exchange, withdraw all your coins to a better wallet and then use a better exchange.

Well, that's annoying, seriously. If Exodus offers this service they should also be liable for anything that happens. They can't just say "that's what it is, nothing we can do". That's not how it works.
I just checked my Exodus wallet and when going to the swap section there is no information about any 3rd party exchange. I mean of course they would use one but they should at least name it to make it clear to the customer what he or she is in for.
Maybe it's written on their TOS or something but this information should be visible while making the swap and not somewhere hidden in small letters somewhere nobody would look.

To clarify yes it is cryptointercambio.com and this is not something that was ever written when i was doing the exchange. It just made me check a box that they use third party api to do exchanges but the wording is as if they are partners. When i spoke to them they basically washed their hards from any of this and say it is out of their wallet therefore they cannot do anything. How can they offer the service which is so seemlessly integrated in their app and then its just not their problem. They are the ones reffering all their users to this exchange they most certainly make a cut.

That's because exodus does not tell you nor let you pick which exchange provider to use before you proceed to the trade. Additionally, last I checked, most of their exchanges on board are lesser knowns or obscure hence, I would never touch it esp when there are far better choices out there.
They clearly state on their website that they do not require kyc but force me to do so and still do not return me these funds. I saw a previous post here from last year that it was returned but it is not in my case ! People need to stop using these scam platforms as even exodus does not seem to care !!!
Unfortunately, the no kyc required could easily mean no mandatory kyc too, which should not be confused with no-kyc -- provided we are talking about the exchange aggregator service. But given how the whole thing is setup, i do not blame you.
Lastly, am I correct to assume you have posted in exodus subreddit already?

It seems you are not the only one who falls for this issue. Look at this thread: EXODUS + criptointercambio.com = SCAM (hold funds 350 000$)
Sorry for your loss, but it seems its a known issue with Exodus they offer unaffiliated 3rd party exchanges, which is pretty risky if you have an issue with any of these exchanges and have problems, Exodus won't be able to help you.

Sorry about your losses and I hope you get your coins back, but that is what happens when you are using services like this.I was saying everyone to stay away from closed sourced wallets like Exodus for a while, and they are even worse in combination with third party exchanges.
In future use open source wallets (Unstoppable, Stack, Cake, etc) and exchanges like eXch for much smoother experience.

Many of us here are finding it hard to comprehend what you are trying to explain here, I know of exodus wallet and but I have not hard such a serious allegations against them for a while now, and seeing this headline it caught my attentions, but reading through the whole case file is a kind of confusing and hard to understand.

After many back and forth emails(which is the only way they communicate) i verified with my id and screenshots of where the crypto came from. ( i am a long time holder and trade back and forth with market.) They clearly state on their website that they do not require kyc but force me to do so and still do not return me these funds.
