thanks for your suggestions. I did in fact contact Exodus support and this time got some help. I learned that ETH comes in different flavours depending on which network it belongs to. It turns out I needed ETH on the Arbitrum One network, so after I swapped some of my ETH to ETH(ARB1) I was then able to get rid of the error blocking my transfer.
It also turns out that non of the Exodus help pages work for users in the UK! Why this should be I don't know but is a bit poor from Exodus. I think I need to change to a different wallet (not Exodus).

I thought they could be referring to something else, but since you said ETH (Ethereum). I thought you were mentioning the network they asked you to fund the ETH for.

As for your second issue regarding the help pages, then I'm not sure. I don't see any similar reports in their Reddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ExodusWallet/search/?q=UK

If UK residents were blocked, you wouldn't be able to access the wallet in the first place, not just the help pages. But a workaround would be to just use a VPN.

For similar wallets (closed source): Trustwallet, Bitget or OKX wallet.

If you're going to send a ERC20 asset (USDT or anything else) then you need ETH to pay for the gas fees.  Maybe the fees are a bit high at the moment, and that's why they're asking you to add more. If you're sure that's not the case, then you need to contact the support team.

Another solution would be to try and use a swap exchange (for example: https://exch.cx/) and manually send the funds instead of using the built-in swap feature in Exodus and see if that works.

Hi - I've used Exodus wallet for a while now and it was all fine until I recently tried to swap one asset for another, specifically USDT (a tethered coin) which I hold plenty of, to LTC (litecoin). But Exodus says I need to deposit a small amount of ETH (Etherium) first. But I already have ETH in my wallet, so why should I need to deposit more? I guess some is needed to pay the transaction fee but I already have enough for this. Is something wrong with Exodus or is it me?
