is there any other way for me to get the amount of eth (0.0014) that i only need without having to buy the minimum amount for swap? I hope my question is understood properly.
Exodus wallet is using other third party centralized exchange partners for making swaps, so you need to pay fees for that plus transaction fees on etheruem chain.
But you can't send usdt or any other tokens on ethereum chain if you don't have base eth coin in your wallet for transaction fees, that applies for all wallets, not just Exodus.

Why would OP need Tron? If it is a TRC-20 USDT, OP could pay the fee in USDT. I remember using Tronlink wallet and in that wallet anyone can send USDT for free after freezing certain amount of TRX for energy. I do not think TRX is required to process a TRC-20 token in USDT case. I may be wrong and that is why can you guide me to any articles related to our discussion.
You need to have a lot Tron if you want to send for free, probably $300-$500 worth of Tron.

I ever staked 500 Tron which worth around $60 and when I want to send my USDT, I still need to pay like $1.5~ (if you didn't stake any Tron, the fees would be $2~). TRC-20 tokens is no longer cheap anymore.

Is it a must to use swap? Because normally some swaps are more costly than using a centralized exchange, even the popular uniswap will take roughly this amount or even more.

Send the USDT to a centralised exchange account and swap to Bitcoin then withdraw, I am sure you will be spending less on withdraw fee than trying to swap, you will be able to cut one fee down instead of two.

Ethereum fee is one and the Bitcoin fee is another, this is why swapping can be more constly at times, the only chain I like to swap on with no problem is the BnB chain.

In non custodial wallet, you can't receive USDT ERC-20 and then withdraw it in TRC-20 network without swap. Even @OP was have USDT TRC-20, he will still need Tron to move the USDT.

As far as I can see, Exodus supports almost all the available chains for USDT. Your USDT is probably on the ETH chain, so they ask ETH for a fee. I am not familiar with Exodus. They will charge you ETH if you even try withdrawing your USDT because it's on the ERC-20 chain. This is fucking worst moment. I never deposited my USDT on the Ethereum Network because of the high fees.

You should check for withdrawal methods via a different chain, such as BSC or Tron. Otherwise, you will have to pay an ETH fee.

... now the problem is i do not have any eth i was gonna buy some but it says i need a minimum amount of 15 usdt to swap usdt to eth.

is there any other way for me to get the amount of eth (0.0014) that i only need without having to buy the minimum amount for swap? I hope my question is understood properly.
So the minimum to swap of usdt/eth is 15 usdt. If you want to only get the required amount in eth, better to use other service or make a p2p deal to someone then send it to your exodus wallet.

If you can't do the above, check what is the minimum amount to swap of eth to btc then make sure that when you swap your usdt to eth it can accommodate the 15 usdt minimum to swap usdt/eth and the eth/btc.
After you swap your usdt to btc then do the remaining eth to swap to btc.
Sure, this will cost fees but it will surely work if you can't do the first one.

Better to use swaps that accept fiat or low fees altcoins and trade for ETH, you can find the swaps in bestchange.

Most centralized exchanges have their minimum balance on how much you can buy and they're all like $10 worth of it to proceed the trade.
Not really, they usually ask minimum amount to withdraw or their withdrawal fees are high, so it's not worth to buy from CEX.

I have never used Exodus wallet so Inam unaware of their USDT withdrawal fee. If they allow TRC-20 USDT withdrawal then it should be only 1 USDT.

If that is the case then transfer those to a P2P exchange then trade the USDT for Bitcoin. I recommend a P2P exchange because the transfer of Bitcoin is done directly to your personal Bitcoin wallet.

If you don't have a Bitcoin wallet then use Electrum wallet and to know about P2P exchanges visit kycnot.me

I need this eth to  move your usdt... you can't do much..

Have you tried exch.cx?

I think it is cheaper and better than exodus. You can your coins from exodus to exch.cx and receive your swapped coins back to exodus wallet, in a better rate saving money.

Visit their website and take a loop. It is safe to use  I just used yesterday.

Not sure how Exodus works because I personally don't use it(closed source lol), but Ethereum MetaMask users use SmolRefuel[1] for this purpose. I'm not 100% sure if you can even connect Exodus to a dapp website.

Also, unless Exodus is going to route through a centralized exchange or through the likes of ThorSwap/Chainflip, I'm not sure how you can even get BTC and not wBTC?

When you make an on chain transaction, swap in this case, you must have a native currency of that chain. In this case, the native currency for that chain is ETH because you are using Ethereum blockchain.

You only can use your money to buy ETH, and deposit that ETH to the address, and use it for swap. If is similar when you want to swap any ERC20 tokens on Ethereum blockchain, ETH is always needed for transaction fee.

Also you can swap some tether for eth and you won't have a problem anymore

He will still need ETH to execute the USDT/ETH swap transaction btw.

PS: this topic would fit better in altcoins area

Most centralized exchanges have their minimum balance on how much you can buy and they're all like $10 worth of it to proceed the trade.

Try to find someone on the marketplace(altcoins) if they're willing to trade to you with small amounts or someone who's generous to give you little amount for your gas fee.

Otherwise, you have to do it with what's required and buy that minimum.
