It's common to get false positives with BTC related software. 

Have a look at this subreddit.  Exodus aren't stealing anyone's funds or doing anything directly dodgy, according to the many users that use them and the vast majority of antivirus programs that don't spot a problem.

Notably, Exodus is not entirely open source so I wouldn't trust them 100%, but I don't think that this proves anything.

You mean one "unheard of" antivirus (zillya??!? wtf? Huh) thinks it found something... while pretty much every other antivirus software says its clean?

Just downloaded and scanned the exodus.io wallet with virustotal.com and shows a trojan. What is the deal with that?
