A small step for us, but a great step for the trust in our project. First trustlines have been set to our Issuer account. We will upload a first version of our website on IPFS next week and we will announce it here as well as on Galactictalk and Reddit. Please stay tuned.

Dear Bitcointalk community, dear all,

first of all, since we just created this new account for our product and are listed as "newbies", we would like to start a small discussion about our idea, using the Stellar ecosystem and IPFS. We plan to make an announcement shortly, since we plan to go online in February. We hope, that in the meantime, some people might join this discussion to evaluate our core idea. Hopefully, the discussion will be constructive and productive, so that we can make an official announcement in the next couple of days or so.

We would like to introduce and announce our project called exoHash. Back in early 2018, we founded our small 2-man data science Start-up, to develop and try out new data-scientific approaches, payments and hosting technologies. In this thread, we would like to give you a brief overview of ourselves, the project idea and release date as well as the concurrent planned ICO of our Stellar based token.

We, Thomas and Henning, are 2 start-up founders from Germany. Our company is officially located in Stuttgart. The motivation and idea of our company is to extract, preprocess, analyze and visualize online (social media) data for everyone of the Web 3.0 community. Second (besides the data-scientific goals and motivation) we want to establish the idea of setting up services, that are driven by an anonymous payment system and that are hosted in a decentralized way. Data science is a stronger becoming topic, that works interdisciplinary between data mining, mathematics / statistics, IT, etc. Using data-scientific tools to optimize e.g. one's social media profile by catching up with recent trends would be a more honest and interactive approach to maximize one's appearance, than using aggressive bots and subtle scripts, that mimic human interaction.

For our data science product we have eager visions and ideas for social-media content as well as for a more general approach to sophisticatedly analyze any website or content automatically. For starters, we would like to start with the analysis service for two commonly used social media platforms (Instagram from the beginning on, Twitter following a few weeks later).

Now, how does it work? And what does it have to do with IPFS and Stellar?
Stellar proofed itself as a reliable and fast payment and transaction system. Several great projects were born like exchanges, wallets and payment tools. However, we always had the impression that one simple but nice feature is a little bit neglected by most developers and users: the Stellar Memo field. One can send additionally to the payment a 28 bytes long ASCII string. So you can additionally send / store minimal information for a fraction of a Stellar Lumen. Our service relies on this Memo field. For example you want to have an analysis of #blockchain. Then simply add "#blockchain" to the Memo field and send the payment. Our algorithms receive the payment. Depending on the sent amount the corresponding analysis for this hashtag is done. Everyone can see, which public address is interested in what content. So everything is transparent. Next, the analysis is done and all data are stored on IPFS so the results are stored decentralized, too. If our server crashes for some reason (downtime, maintenance, failure), the current content will still remain, if other IPFS nodes host our content. For now, the only centralized part are our algorithms. But in the long run, we would like to develop a decentralized solution for this problem, too.

Where is our data science website and the Whitepaper?
For now, we only hosted our stellar.toml file. But we will post the IPFS link in a couple of days here and on Twitter, after some more testing. But please note: IPFS and IPNS can be sometimes slow. We hope this will not be a show-stopper for our product. On our website, you will also find our whitepaper. The final link will be added here soon.

What about the token?
The payment itself is done by our utility token called exoHash EXH (https://stellar.expert/explorer/public/asset/EXH-GD7S2JWO3SSA2YR2WZSKTIUIBGKBUAWKKGNBBLWJNECIZR2I7TUSC3M4). Our service and our token have the same name; do not be confused.

And the ICO?
We do not plan to have a "classical" ICO, where we set up airdrops etc. We will have our first sale at the same date, when our analysis tool will go online. Further, we plan to have smaller weekly sales. The number of token is coupled to our computational capacities, and the price shall be linked to Euro. We hope, that without any vast sales, bonus programs, airdrops etc. we will have a suitable and long-term development of our start-up and utility token. Our token will not be listed on any centralized exchange, only on Stellar's decentralized exchange, that can be accessed e.g. with certain wallets.

What are our future plans?
We will add Twitter soon after the first release and will add more platforms. We work currently also on Neural Networks to analyze and extract important trends in images, too. We also think, that with Stellar's Memo feature, several more nice ideas and projects could be developed. A roadmap will be provided in the whitepaper.

We will inform you in this thread when the first version of our website is online! Everything will be ready soon, since we plan our first sale on 11th February 2019. As we said, there will be only very small sales in the beginning (only 2500 EXH per week, 1 EXH will correspond to XLM worth of 1 Euro). We will increase the price and number of token with more capacities, more developments and hopefully with more coming customers and people who believe in this project.

If you have any question, comments etc. please do not hesitate to ask in this thread. Please consider to follow and support us also on Twitter: https://twitter.com/aedataconsult. Please let us know, what you think about our project, about the data science product and our idea to develop more tools, that use the Memo field of Stellar. We also hope, that more developers will start to introduce a working product at the same time they introduce a token.

Cheers,
Thomas & Henning
