I only wish they accepted it for Airlines as well.
I'll use CheapAir.com for that, though.

They don't accept Bitcoins for flight bookings? That sucks. Someone posted here otherwise. Also, as far as I understand, they are accepting Bitcoin payments only from the American customers. When will they start to accept them from the international customers?

They start with the American market and they will probably soon extend it to other countries

Even crazier is the news of the Malaysian tech seller who accepts bitcoins and openly doesnt convert any of them.
Big companies are shifting fast now.

They are shifting as they are understanding it and as the consumers are getting more involved in Bitcoin

the odd thing is that this news comes out and then bitcoin proceeds to drop by $40. i guess this kind of news doesnt affect speculation as much as we thought it would.

It is like any market sometimes it seems it goes down with positive news and sometimes it seems it goes up with negative news; the positive news are always positive in a long term perspective; I can feel everything coming into place for a new huge spike in price that will probably be orchestrated by insiders

It's Money 2.0| It’s gold for nerds | It's Bitcoin

I find it great because I will use the service with bitcoins

Expedia finds the lowest rates on airlines and hotels and sort availability based on price (after sorting by location and value/number of stars). They encourage hotels/airlines to offer lower prices to them.

This is great news as it allows bitcoin to be shown in a positive light while letting users have the ability to spend their coins without first converting to fiat.

You can earn bitcoins by renting an hotel room on pointshound (not affiliated, used it twice and got my two bitcoin payments)

Another merchant to accept BTC. There will be more and more companies who definitely follow the steps. They are aware that appeal customers tend to pay by bitcoin and low payment processing cost.

I'm surprised to see Cnet writing an article about Bitcoin.
