Hello everybody,

does anyone know this provider?

https://minery.io/en

I am very surprised that I cannot find any information/experiences. Neither here in the forum nor on another page. I think the price per kWh is very good at $ 0.06 (including service fees).

Best regards

Thanks for your warnings. Then for the time being I will distance myself and move my devices to another Siberian provider.

Even bigger red flag; http://whois.domaintools.com/minery.io

Domain expires today. That says enough about the people behind the project. They don't care anymore, or they have performed an exit scam.

If the project lacks information especially for a cloud mining site like that where people are investing, then something is not right here, any investment site must have a testimonials from actual buyers of their plan, if they do not have from independent user then you have something to be worried about, just pass this one, and you will be safe.

There's nothing that says about renting their hashrate, I dont think theyre offering cloud mining services. It's just a plain hosting service.

And the lack of information should be an enough flag imo.
Maybe youll find something reputable here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4353171(List is outdated but should be fine since you'll DYOR)

I tried to look for any online reviews or feedback about the site but I can't find any. It looks like a new site that was recently launched. Looking at the site it self, it doesn't give much information about the owners (background, successful ventures and previous business) of this site so why would I put a Satoshi to site who can't even show who is behind the site itself. More likely this is just one of those scam sites that will last for only a few months.

1. I am certainly not the owner of this page. I ask out of serious interest and because I have doubts, since this provider has not commented on anything publicly since August 2018. In addition, the provider is registered here in the forum, but at that time it was only about the sale of tokens.
You're right... This must be the official thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annicopre-sale-minery-legal-mining-facility-in-russia-3250755

Now you know that they are registered here but did you notice their official thread most of the posts from their thread are posted by newbies and some users there have negative feedback which is obvious alt accounts according to feedback.

2. How do you decide that it is cloud mining? That's not what the page is about.
The page looks like they are offering "cryptocurrency mining" with "0.032 USD kWh" and they said "Not a cloud. Not a pool. We procure the hardware,
install and set it up"
So where do you think they get the hardware?
So it will be still a cloud mining because they don't ask to host your own miner instead they are borrowing or get it from unknown sources.

Since you already check their last activity here is August 2018 better stay away on this project that the best you can do now for safety of your funds.

Oh boy, looks like another cloud mining service.

It's mostly simply either:

  • A scam
  • A huge waste of money

I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole. If you're fine with wasting money then sure. That's a nice domain though.
Nah, this is just an another newbie who tries to ask something but actually he do just simply try to advertise his own site.

Majority knows that cloud mining is not profitable and even having your own miner would do the same.So its just a total waste of time.
