Electrum is a must for me. Easy to use, you don't have to download the blockchain, haven't had any issues with it yet. How much better can it get?

AFAIK it is, as long as you're taking proper precautions described in the stickied threads here. Armory is a good choice if you want absolute control, but, Electrum is safe enough as well. If you're really crazy about security, Electrum should be able to help you out with a paper wallet...
Especially if you have a data transfer limit.
