I wouldn't call predictions of increase in crime rate a prophecy of doom because if you are looking at the rate of inflation in many countries you will not argue the theory. There is severe hardships in many underdeveloped countries and many of it's citizens are looking for ways to survive, for some citizens crime seems to be a way out. If these governments don't put their acts right and look for quick ways to tackle the rate of unemployment's and improve the standards of living of their citizens, then crime can be the best option for some people in these countries.

The rate of migrants into developed countries is very alarming in recent years and this is as a result of bad governance in their native countries. The disadvantage of this migration is that both genuine people and criminal minded people are seeking to migrate into these developed countries. So I won't be surprised if crime rates increases in both the developed , developing and the underdeveloped countries, although it'll be more in the underdeveloped countries.

I remember during the last presidential debate between Harris and Trump, the latter tried to push forward the narrative about an apparent surge of crime in all the United States and he even called that surge of crime "immigrant crime", the moderator quickly corrected that according to the FBI violent crime is down in the United States as an average. Trump them proceeded to call the FBI to be liars.
In the issue of crime where is one supposed to place trust? on the numbers presented by authorities or our personal perceptions on how things actually work around us?

To me, pushing the narrative of rising crime without having anything to back it up just brings negative things onto the table, specially xenophobia, when Trump dares to talk about migrants commiting crime (when statistically they are less likely to do it).

Again, it is the same narrative of them against us, typical of fascists raising to power.

Well we do have a cost of living crisis, people are struggling to maintain a standard of living that they have been accustomed to over the years. I would not be surprised if there is an increase in crime such as theft as people attempt to get the necessities they require. Also the election is coming near, political fanatics always get a bit weird when it is election time.

Based on the majority of reports, these countries were the safest in terms of crime in 2022, and the list has not changed so much in 2023.

What is bad now is that crypto don't give money and a lot scams even If you invest into presale and you use to make 100x-1000x profits well that's at least something.

Many people was busy on making money by Investment if it's not so good anymore we would see more crimes again.
Investing in cryptocurrencies is still profitable. Those who decide to engage in crime because they want quick money will end up in jail. The less profit in the crypto space is not a genuine reason to engage in crime.

If prisons are full allready and there is not enough officials and police to deal with them then what's the point of justice anyways.
If the prison becomes congested the government will build more to accommodate more criminals. More funds will be allocated to recruit more police and prison officials. There are many profitable activities to engage in, there is no need to engage in illegal ventures.

It doesn't need an expert to see crimes going to rise soon. With inflation and more people being jobless and men can't provide for their families, it will be an ugly day ahead for these men will commit all sorts of crimes for the reason that they don't want their families to go hungry.

They will loot a grocery store, and steal any kind of stuff in any store hoping they could sell these items and this has been happening already. They will invade a house they think has something valuable, we're seeing these already.

It's cheaper for goverment to fund cryptocurrency and make illusion to traders that they do something great and are geniuses instead of we will see actually more crimes.

If not because of cryptocurrency, many of the youth will become criminals and we don't know how many crimes we will be seeing every day, the prison will be full to the extent that it will lead to another rule that if someone commits a crime he or she will be sentenced to death or punishment that will be very tough, crypto has save the world, the reason why I said that is that if we look at the numbers of those who are into crypto this day the number is more those who are not Into crypto.

We have traders, those who buy bitcoin and hold it and those who do mine in Telegram, we can't depend on the government no matter what because of the population of some countries, although the government tries its best not every individual can enjoy their life under government, we can never forget cryptocurrency even the next generation are going to enjoy it and you be honest if not because of crypto I don't think some countries will still be in peace.

If you need to worry about always safety that's not good.
But the question is will the prisons have any point anymore to be as punishment If many countries in europe uk usa canada are over loaded with criminals.

If crypto don't come back and people earn again not just crypto but also the stock markets then that's for sure we need to spend more time money and efforts to safety.

Life Will be like GTA game.

That's why i told many times UK Europe and USA need to get power in some not developed countries where is agriculture and a lot natural resources connect their currency valuation and make profit and act as broker of those goods been sold then we can make money and keep UK USA Europe safe and crime rate low.
Then the banks can even borrow the credit easy wich can be deleted later and nobody don't need to pay for this.
So usa now need military action to save western powers.
