I dont know if you mean bitcointalk or not but I dont think people here are stupid. But if you are talking about the general public then I would tend to agree that things have gotten
worse the past few years. Not because humans arent smart but more because we have gotten accustomed to being lazy. The lazier we get the less skills we learn. The less we
know and can do the worse off we will be. It is a cycle and if technology keeps advancing like this, I wouldnt be surprised if a majority of people became total idiots.

I think it is because of how society shaped us. With todays concept and outlook, lame comebacks and petty i sults have become the new educational banter. Comedy are much more better suited in educational debated and we all aplaud effort more than the success itself.

Exactly. Prior to the internet social pressure would've silenced these people so the majority wouldn't hear that much from them. Now every idiot has a platfrom and reinforcement from other idiots that their nonsense is worth listening it. see all the flat earth mouth breathers as just 1 example

Because everyone considers himself to be better than the rest. They don't see their own stupidity because they are blinded by arrogance and pride wherein in fact anyone can be stupid because no one is perfect. Why here much stupid people now?
You can count your self first as one of them, study proper English before posting about being stupid. I know that English literacy doesn't measure knowledge but if you're going to insult people here use language that you find your self literate if ever there's one.
