Because you should consider how much max you can earn if you mine yourself by mining rigs. So how a could manners site can multiple you funds within a day or month? It's unrealistic and impossible in the real world. It's possible by scammers only in the virtual world since they aren't going to send back your investment. So stay away from greedy cloud mining.
Had my guard up already when you mentioned in your title that it was a cloud mining project, I am sure that it is a scam already because there's no such thing as a legitimate cloudmining.
