Old techniques of a scam they used but yet until now it's effective because there are still greedy and innocent people who fall on this kind of trap.
High yield, also means high-risk investment, and possibly it includes possible scams.

I didn't finish the video and at the first glance it was surely a scam and we don't know that platform either so why w would use that scam investment site.

Make a thread on the scam accusation board including this video and find more documents that support this video as scam evidence against them, it also warns people here.

I suggest putting more emphasis on why it's a scam. Probably break down the reasons why down to the small details, that way it will become very informative for the average ppl.
It's very simple really: anyone offering you 20% daily ROI like this opictrader is scammer, as simple as that. There are no elaborate scamming techniques or anything of that sort, they just count on ignorance and greed as you have to be combination of both to fall for something like this. I mean, just look at screenshot from their webiste, its a basic scam. On top of that, they claim to be six years in operation while basic whois domain check reveals that website is less than a year old.

-snip-

for a lot of us here, we have seen this scamming technique many times over. such high daily ROI was a thing in the past and yet, scammers are still using this scheme up until now. maybe owed to newcomers in this market. they are just banking that these newbies are gullible enough to believe their trap. also, not all people are doing their due diligence. very few people are checking the creation date of the site.
what most are after is how much they will earn. but unfortunately, they are being deceived by these scammers.

and these are one of the things that I think should've been mentioned in the video. We can probably summarize on why the whole service is a scam using one or two sentences but if you're making an 11-minute scambait video, you might as well point out as much red flags as possible so the viewers would be able to do the same.

Honestly, you seem new to scambaiting OP. It was kind of all over the place especially at the confrontation part where you sounded lost while the scammer was reasoning you out. You can try chiming in on Scam Accusations board, it's pretty good when it comes to investigation. There are probably other places as well if you look for it.

I saw the scam post on Facebook offering investment services with guaranteed returns, have you watched the video?
Great content exposing a scam project, but its better if you do it on a more paragraph way here in the forum so the users wont think that you are just a Youtuber who wants to gain more viewers. Anyway, going back to the content this kind of scheme is not new anymore because if the offer is too good to be true, that’s your first red flag and better to leave right away. Don’t let those scammers sense that you have that kind of money, most probably they still aim for you.

These "trade" websites that are unknown should really be questioned and doubted with such offers that they're telling to their potential victims. And they are asking to invite people? Well, another sign of a scam.

Yeah anything new on website should be looked at with much attention, care and doubt. Don't through in all into what you have not seen review about. It is better to stay with what we already know than trying for bigger stuff and losing big money. $5,000 investment involves alot and losing it because of improper research is really a painful thing.

Investment Scam - opictrader.com - Opic Trader Scam

Hi Everyone I would like to post a video I made exposing an investment scam using a fake exchange and website. I recorded 3 Facebook calls and give all the details of the scam where he taught he was going to $10,000.

Watch the scam in motion at https://youtu.be/pxb-JzPaQ5U
As suggested by joeperry please move it on the appropriate board or if you don't know how to do that, I'd report this instead. It will help lot of people not to fall for this one and save them their tears. Same old trick! If it tells you your money will get profit without doing  anything at all, it's scam, totally a scam.

I heard you want to do $5,000 of investment and he promising $75,000 profit in a very short time, within a week right ? In addition to inviting your family into the investment, that's a lot of money. I think when an investment sounds too good then we have to be careful.
That's a lot of money and promises.

So if that's the content of the video and it's telling you that you can earn 15x from the initial investment that you can do, that's really likely a scam.

I understand you are a YouTuber and probably every view counts, but If you have good intentions about exposing the scam. You might as well make a post of how the scam is being carried out using text and screenshots. Some members round the forum don't have time to watch an 11-minute video.

Follow the scam reporting format that has already been suggested.

I listened to the video, I think you have to move the thread to scam accusation board and get to see if more people have same experience or can help you do more research on that and create the needed awareness.

How did you get to know this opictrader in the first place? Do they use details that they can buy from phishers of information or something? I want to know to prevent future activities that could cause people to put money in this kind of thing mistakingly. It's best to learn to avoid it rather than curing it in which *you were already scammed*. It will be hard to recover, or you will have to accept that you were scammed.
