People should stay away from this site. But looking at the long list of their strategic partnership organizations, you will think that they are running legit here. I believe they are targeting chinese traders as the chat support is in chinese language. As crypto is banned in China, they may be looking for Chinese users that may possibly use their services but the problem is, once they deposited, their funds will never be returned.

Website has been down for more than a week. It seems they finally finished the long, slow exit scam and are gone for good.
But I wonder how you ended up with this scam exchange. Of all the exchanges that could possibly be available to you, why on earth did you even choose exx.com?

If OP was a long time user, it could be thru coinmarketcap. Exx probably ranked well in CMC (or similar websites) at some point seeing how much trading volume they are faking. CMC was a lot worse back then as well. Sometimes most of the top exchange you'll see were obscure...

Exactly and this is what I'm thinking of. How come OP was ended up using this exchange and it seems unfamiliar to me, I even always stick on the exchange that has a good review and fewer scam complaints. Here in Bitcointalk if you will search on scam accusations there are a few threads there that discussed them and they said it's a scam and must stay away from them, it's awareness but yet, OP still using that exchange, even TrustPilot review isn't good for them.
And it seems all their social media accounts are inactive too, so considering this exchange platform is totally dead or it's possible that this exit scam exchange.
But it seems there is someone talking about their coin on Twitter recently.

The complaints against exx.com are countless and almost as old as the exchange itself. I don't even understand how they still exist until now. Perhaps it is their fake volume and shitcoin listing that made them survive.

There was some user also complaining about this exchange back then. Here: Help to withdraw BSC from Exx, the results didn't look so good.
As per the referenced link above, their email is actually dead. And if you already tried there is no way to contact them, it should be obvious that it is very likely an exit scam. Not to mention, if you look at the above post, it started since 2021, so, unfortunately, I believe your possibility to get back your funds is small.

I was trying to find when did this start and earliest seems to be on January 2021 so that's almost a year

It wouldn't be weird to think of an exit scam (hope I'm wrong tho!) at this point. I can see the new ad banners and promotion post as a mere ploy to buy them time, making their users think there's still hope...
