Are you using FaceApp ??

They are saving images on their servers,

in this modern world nothing is secured in your mobile so I think we are all giving our personal details very easily to each and every application that we installed in our mobile so don't worry about this application Lee we are already give all the details to everyone

The only thing users should worry about is servers getting hacked

And we see hacked happening all the time...
We need better protection for sure

Number one thumb rule, if you use an app without payment.

You are the product of it. This isn't just for faceapp but also for each app, they save our data and monetize with it.

100% I don't think the general public understands the workings of companies and how they would make money. If you don't pay, you are the product.
Mostly users doesn't know this is the real thing in the world of digital.

But I'm happy to see that there are people that are starting to be curious on how these apps earn and searches about the truth about it. Regardless of what they know, just spread the knowledge about these kind of apps and warn people whom you would deal with about these apps.

I think they won't delete it, it can be used for AI, or similar programs.
But I think it's not too dangerous.

Didn't try this new app and I don't want to follow the trend on social media.
Don't follow everything that's on the trend. It's okay to know and be aware of the current trend but don't try it if you are taking care of your data and aware of the consequences.

If you are not too careful and someone who's just agreeing with their terms, you'll sorry in the end.

Oh lol this goes for every application/social media thing now:

- Instagram
- Facebook
- Twitter
- etc

If you read the terms on their pages you can see once you upload something to their servers it basically belongs to them.

Agreed.
I don't use it myself.

I would rather use one that makes me look younger anyway Smiley
It's a trend so as long as people on social media keeps on using it, there will be people that will be curious to try it out and the chain starts.

I'm a fan of these apps that goes viral, I'm not security expert but I know how to take care against these apps.
